    I've now called 5 times on 4 and 5 times on 2 and eventually got the call back later message each time. So much for supposedly saving us money!

    cafctv site is blocked at work, can someone confirm if my summary is correct ...

    4200 tickets of which 1800 sold by last night
    remaining 2400 on sale to ST holders from today and going like hot cakes - 600 sold in first hour, so down to 1800.
    If any left then will be available to red card holders from Monday.

    Expect the first hour to be the busiest though.

    You still get the call back later message when pressing 4, but you don't have to wait 2 minutes to hear it. Therefore you are more likely to get in the queue if you keep trying and hit 4.

    I called 44 times before getting in the queue.

  • Managed to get through. Got treated badly though in my opinion.

    Had my friends CON number but left mine at home this morning, would sell me an extra ticket for Boxing day, two for Brighton but only one spurs ticket.

    Its just very petty that they wouldnt look mine up.
  • Guys, I have just got two. Phoned and pressed option 4. Be warned if you don't have your membership numbers then they will not process the order. I dont actually have mine and had to beg haha!

  • Called at 9:15 and was in a queue of 19 people. I was on the line 11 minutes and a lovely lady sold me 2 tickets.

    I have no complaints with the service to be honest.

  • with the demand for tickets and effort in getting through on phones i do smile at the thought some folk do not have thier card number or details can you imagine the girls or guys in the ticket office thinking all we ask is you to give us a number it must slow thier proceess down spare them a thought
  • If you get through straight away you won't be complaining, if you have to wait for a hour (or 2) you'll get annoyed such in the human mind. I reckon they will all go today, will have to wait and see about that, at least cup romance is strong!
  • Left the valley at 10:30 after getting my tickets. i queued for 45 mins but when i left the was only filling 3 or 4 rows of the barrier things by the office. 20 mins max.
    gut feeling is a few will make the next tier of sales.
  • I have never used my membership number EVER. I always give my name and address where my season tickets are and Valley Gold, I will now store those details in my phone.

    I would say paying £500 a season and going to away games makes me a supporter haha.

    I also have a Charlton pin on my work jacket.

    2 tickets purchased! Finally got through at 16 in the queue about 11:30 and have just put the phone down. Once through service excellent as ever. Spoke to Hayley who I've dealt with before. Her and Ravi are always very good in my experience.

  • The reason we won't look up CON numbers in this situation is that it would enable unscrupulous individuals to use other people's season tickets without their permission, rather than the time it would take.
