[cite]Posted By: AFKABartram[/cite]i can't have been the only one who's nasty side was secretly hoping the poor downtrodden, woe-is-me Len failed to get tickets !!
[cite]Posted By: Airman Brown[/cite]The reason we won't look up CON numbers in this situation is that it would enable unscrupulous individuals to use other people's season tickets without their permission, rather than the time it would take.
So that's obviously the case with me then? Takes allot for me to get p1ssed off with the club but that has really riled me.
Especially as other have now said they managed to blag it.
2 tickets purchased! Finally got through at 16 in the queue about 11:30 and have just put the phone down. Once through service excellent as ever. Spoke to Hayley who I've dealt with before. Her and Ravi are always very good in my experience.
I think Kelly is a very welcomed addition to the team.
Makes me laugh that we have sold over 3,000 already, the term glory boys certainly appears to ring true seeing as we normally take 400 odd to most away games.
Desperate
I want 3, for 3 season ticket holders (and an extra but may not be lucky) myself my son and his mate....all regulars who sit together, but have only done orient and barnet away. Am working full on from about 7.30 AM until 10 pm because I am the director of our school production, have tried quickly ringing between lessons, but do not have all the number details (red card etc), and could not wait in the phone queue today i have to be back in class...will not be able to get down to the Valley until Saturday, likely to miss out...gutted.

This is the 3rd round of the FA Cup against a top 6 team not an ordinary away game and some of us watched (endured) some or all of the FA Cup 1st and 2nd round matches that got us to this point.
A match like this is a rare highlight in the catalogue of dross we've suffered since Curbishley left and I for one feel no shame or guilt whatsoever in making the most of it particularly as I was in the approx 4,000 Charlton fans at The Valley for Barnet and approx 5,000 Charlton fans at The Valley for Luton.

That'll be be me then.
Produced 2 away ticket stubs (Man Utd 3rd round FA Cup and a Play Off Final) plus my season ticket and Bobs your uncle, one spurs ticket ; )
I reckon most of the people going to the Tottenham game will at least be season ticket holders. Don't think you could classify any of the 14,000+ who attended Sunday's defeat to Walsall as 'Glory boys'. Unless you have a very grim definition of 'glory'.

Quite a few of us on here would have met Anthony (SE10Addick) at games or our various CL gatherings, so no doubting his credentials. If there are any ST holder who aren't using their ticket, i'm sure he would appreciate a whisper and there would be a pint in it for you.

Glory boy? You have to have done 4 aways or own a season ticket to qualify for a ticket. Took over 3k to Gillingham and Orient last season.

len,
i've watched charlton at 74 away grounds out of the current 92. i haven't been away this season (though lost train ticket money for rochdale) and didn't go to the barnet or luton games.
do you think you should get preference over me on getting tickets?

I've said elsewhere that I think season ticket holders should rank behind the VIPs and as this is an FA Cup game then those who have attended some or all of the earlier FA Cup games should come next.
I am a season ticket holder and attended the home Barnet and Luton matches.
I don't know your circumstances so the answer will be yes or no depending on whether or not you are a season ticket holder.
EDIT: What I would also say is that somone like Seth Plum definitely deserves tickets and I hope somone in a position of influence has reas his post and can help him out.
they wont field a strong side...will be similar to the one that got beat by arsenal in the league cup. we'll need a minor miracle but stranger things have happened.
I got my ticket this morning. Took one of my pals' tickets who got on on the auto-cup seat renewal scheme rather than book through my membership so I'm standing with my mates in the opposite corner of the Park Lane end form you guys. I'm quite looking forward to it now but got Newcastle at home on the 28th to go to first.
Having read some of the posts above, have you got some kind of loyalty points scheme going on? That would sort out the arguments over who is entitled to much sought after tickets for away days (and cup finals occasionally). Spurs run one and it works fairly well. Obviously the size of our supporter base warrants that but would have thought you'd have something in place like that from your Premiership days?

TBH, I dont think Harry would play as weak a team as we fielded against the vermin. We played the first team through all the FA Cup games last year as he said it was our most realistic chance of a trophy and realistically speaking, it still very much is our best chance. I would have thought that the line up will very much depend on the injury list. We've got so many out or carrying knocks at the moment it would be difficult to field a weakened team (take centre-mid for example - Huddlestone, vdV, Jenas and now Palacios are all crocked leaving only Modric and Sandro available). But then again, with players becoming available again after injury, you may see Harry making changes to give them a game.
As for minor miracles...we're due a 3rd round shock soon you know!
The grounds not hard to get to, only a 30minute walk from the tube station and the pressure's off for this one. We're expected to lose but if we win/draw it'll be a big deal. Should make for a great atmosphere.
[cite]Posted By: CAFCBourne[/cite]John BOy I'm on the shelf whats that mean?
Thats the East Stand. The shelf used to be the bit inbetween the Upper and Lower. Basically the same side as the TV camera is on, facing the West. The Chartlon fans will be to you left in the far corner.

Something for you travellers to bear in mind...rather than go via Victoria Line to Seven Sisters or from Liverpool St to WHL/Seven Sisters/Northumberland Park, you might like to know that you can get a train from Stratford to Northumberland Park. It avoids zone 1 and avoids all the packed trains from Liverpool St and the tube. Thats the route I normally take now from Welling. Then you've only got a 5 min walk at most. On the way back, you'll find the Stratford trains are emptier as well but they dont run as frequent.

LOL!
The shelf, their most famous terrace, got replaced with boxes, Spurs were also the first club to float on the stock exchange.

To answer a few who posted back on my comments, I am not going, not fussed about missing it either clashes with playing football which I prioritise above watching the worst charlton team I have ever seen on a Sunday lunchtime. Be interesting to see how many of the 4,200 go to the remainder of our away games this season. I do not dispute the fact that a number of people on here are loyal fans, just highlights how indifferent our away support is, back to 400 next week, shouldn't OOh AAh be writing this post.

Yep, correct on both counts. There is a little tiny bit left of the old shelf in the East Lower, just a fraction in front of the boxes. I never knew it was there until last year, when we had tickets up there for the Leeds game.
Not normally and it wasnt last Sunday for the Chelsea game, nor the Sunday before that for the Liverpool game.
Spurs normally are pretty good about letting us know if there's engineering works a few weeks in advance so if I see anything, I'll post it on here for you guys.
