i still hear Francis getting stick, but from what i heard on the radio, Franny was getting forward and clearing his lines well. What did Franny do wrong last night? and would you keep Jacko on left mid with a fit Reidy??? tough call...
Francis cleared his lines OK but without any purpose or direction mainly. He looked embarrased himself a few times, but hey we won. First time I've enjoyed a performance for a long time rather than just being thankful for a result. Wouldn't want to change the set up, it just looked balanced.
I hope that Parky stays tough on our players. Also that Parky will put forth the tactical effort he has prepared over the last couple weeks since the Brighton loss and his job on the line. Its so important to continue to improve and not just sitback with the gameplan of .."lets just do what we have been doing last 3 games..." Parky, stay active, do your homework and keep pushing yourself as if your job is still on the line...
Now you have altered your clocks in the UK we (in Kenya) are three hours ahead. The lads had just scored the first goal when I was tucked up in bed with my cocoa. I was seeing a 1-1 on the cards. When I checked the score this morning I was thrilled. Had a smile on my face all day.
We had better start praying that Parky doesn't win the divisional 'mananger of the month' award. That's always the kiss of death. Give it to Nigel Adkins, please!

We lost two in Oct, and Swindon win was Nov, so doubt we need to worry just yet...
Not at the game, but by all accounts a commanding and thoroughly professional performance.
The lads have set a high standard with their last 2 displays - so we now know what this team is capable of.
We are bound to pick up injuries along the way but there are some decent options on the bench so, if the squad players can pick up the baton when called upon, we can look to the remainder of the season with some optimism.
Realistically we cannot expect the same quality of performance in EVERY game - so long as the same level of commitment is shown, I for one will not complain.
Well done to the lads and Parky. Keep it up - we are more than capable of getting out of this division.

Goals from last night here

"And this was the 500th League Goal that Charlton have scored...."
And they managed to miss the last goal which would perhaps explain the lack of coverage on SSN.
Great result even so and at last we seem to have a couple of forwards who compliment each other AND score goals.
