  • SOUNDS A OPTION
  • Accrington? who are they? :)
  • i'm going. gonna have to buy some more hand warmers.
  • x3 driving up. To be honest I don't hold out much hope for this. If the weather continues in the same vain it'll be off.
  • cheers clem really cheered me up that has
  • Having booked train tickets back in September and had an ankle op on Thursday, I'm unable to go. So would it be selfish for me wanting it called off, then I could make the rearranged date.
  • very selfish you sod
  • Have got my ticket, hope it goes ahead...
  • Wigan are at home as well, and that'll be easy to get into
  • and tickets at City are £28 against Bolton

  • For Accrington, get the train from Manc, change at Preston, Accrington is nestled between Blackburn and Burnley, about 20 mins
  • never been wigan might do that one
  • If Rochdale is off I cant see the Accrington game being on either. Think anyone still travelling will be lumbered with Premier league action.
  • Blackburn are at home too. Tickets from £15.
  • anyone know when the club are sending the match tickets back?
  • Bury are at home to Chesterfield in a top of the table clash, never been Gigg Lane, although we may play them next season if they get up, will be another ground ticked off.

If that is called off, fancy Blackburn v Wolves.
  • rochdale do have their own covers just rung to confirm
  • The temps on Friday night/Saturday morning look horrific and the covers won't protect the pitch if the weather dips to -10 as is predicted.

The other problem is, even if it's fit to start the game, it might not survive the whole 90 minutes.

Just got to hope the wind changes direction this week.
  • It's usually the pavements and roads around the stadium that get a game called off anyway.
  • They are gonna need them.
just looked at the forecast and today is the warmest day of the week at a tropical zero degrees.
snow for tonight, tomorrow and wednesday. with thursday night hitting minus 6.

  • Looking at the forecast I suspect they will make an early decision on this one. Probably called off Friday night or after an early pitch inspection on Saturday.

  • I have a client who is a Rochdale fan, I just asked her if she thinks it will be on she said this.

"I’m not sure if the game will be on or not to be honest, it’s freezing cold up here and we’ve already got snow and it’s forecast more throughout the week. One good thing for you guys though, our keeper went off on Saturday with a hamstring injury, apparently he is going to be out for 5 weeks, so you’ll probably stuff us at the weekend. There will be a pitch inspection on Saturday morning about 8"
  • There will be a pitch inspection at 8am?

She seems fairly definite about that? Hopefully i will know before my train departs.
  • I'm not gonna lie, it's fecking freezing up here
  • -16 on Friday morning???

Makes the 0 here seem positively toasty.

The roads and footpaths will mean this one will be called off, I reckon.
