I just hope we can find some penetration for once and win by the two clear goals required.
oo er missus!
[cite]Posted By: Nadou[/cite]Please please - no Racon tonight, Parky. We need someone who can actually initiate attacks not fanny around with 'classy' square/back passes.
[cite]Posted By: Swisdom[/cite]Racon is IMHO lucky to still be in the team - I just think his work ethic stinks.
More scape goating?
Racon was the only player in the opposition half to try to track back for the second goal on friday!
Not scapegoating in the slightest. I've defended him many times this season but I am fed up with seeing him try a trick too many, or lose posession and just stamp his feet and sulk. If you lose the ball you run your bollocks off to go and get it back.
As for the second goal he displayed a lack of pace in keeping up with a man with a ball at his feet - but also a lock of common sense in not taking a tactical booking.
He also bottled out of a challenge in the first half by jumping like a fairy and flailing a leg at the ball- unforgivable.
He's been on borrowed time and he's had enough chances. The wings are where we will win it tonight so we need 2 wingers on the pitch - Reid and Sam. Bailey in the middle and Therry can sulk on the sidelines.
IF we get to Wembley then maybe the extra time and space on the pitch will be beneficial to him - but tonight I want 100% effort from all 11 players and he would bring that average down.
Be watching via steam tonight on internet.Do not know what way this game is going to go.Plus points 29th may date of final same date as the Long Goodfriday game at ST ANDREWS back in 1987.Before the home game this season Charlton had won last three home games with Swindon without them scoring. Also plus point the last TWO times Swindon have won at The Valley the goalkeeper has scored an owngoal Kiely and Petterson it is not going to happen a 3RD time. I think first team to score will win it.HANG ON TO YOUR SEAT AND RAISE THE ROOF TONIGHT,it could be what pulls this game around for THE ADDICKS.
I think the nerves will get to the Swindon players more than ours. They are away in a huge match with a very noisy home support. They don`t like it up em !

A win at home against Swindon to take us to Wembley before the seaosn started most would've said yes.
COYR!!!
EDIT: to say if we were ahead I would be bricking it that we'd throw it away. At least tonight we know only one thing will do us.
