  • It will all be OK - we're into our last 10 games, and we all know how well we usually do from this point on in the season...
  • Anyone wish to share the last 20 seasons of racked up points from the remaining 10 games?
Not many of them reached 15 points, did they?
    Or am i imagining things?
  • Some fans like to boo their team, always have done, always will .......... end of.

    You won't convince them otherwise.

I believe it shows a lack of contentment in their personal lives, so they need to take it out on others. That it is of course the regular booers.

I'm sure nearly everyone has booed occasionally ie at home to Wycombe in the cup a few years ago, when the players lack of effort really did deserve it.

[cite]Posted By: Callumcafc[/cite]A couple of points:

1a. No-one ever goes out onto a football pitch with the intent of not picking up three points.
1b. Most would agree that as long as our players show effort, no matter how bad then we will support them.

= Why, oh why are we booing our team? There is plenty of effort to succeed from everyone involved.

    2. Can we not just get over this please? For the sake of the rest of our season. Leave this issue until the summer.

    The voice of reason.

Assuming that you believe cup games don't exist (and as a Charlton supporter, they barely do) and if you believe (contrary to your own manager's assertions) that ever team always approaches every match only interested in a win.

Otherwise, it's a pack of shit, that we should have probably debated more fully when others suggested (Dec 2008, Mar 09, Jun 09, Dec 09, Jan 10 etc). This isn't a sudden upsurge of people spotting the obvious flaws in Parky nailing the coffin lid down. Voice of effing reason.

Everything in the garden is not rosy, but we're still very much in with a decent shout of promotion.
So for the sake of the rest of our season. why are we constantly attacking our own team and pulling everything to pieces ....?
  • Oggs

we are not in with a good shout for promotion the performances leading up the result against millsmall and gillingham were pish poor and obvious to all that if we faced anyone who fancied it ala Brighton or Orient that we would get turned over, trust me when i tell you he way we are playing we would struggle to beat any one

    let alone

    Huuddersfield,Leeds,Colchester,Narwich,MK dons

Parky is wrong to turn the heat from him to the fans, on saturday he got booed because he told us he was hurting he told us he would make changes to get us back on track, he told us we would see a team that wants to put it right,

what he gave us was nothing he gave us 45 mins of tactically inept football, he gave us 45 mins of key stone cop defending and attacking, he gave us nothing to hope for after the first 45.

He played a keeper who had a knock before the game ( and we then lose out on 1 sub) who then destroyed his confidence by making yet another ricket,

His defence is shambolic all the way across the line

His Midfield has no balance to it and Lloyd Sam shows so little going forward and even less effort in tracking back and helping out,

Racon has turned into a lemon of a player when he clearly was not a season ago

Bailey totally ineffective on the left

On Saturday we needed to be hard to beat we needed to be forcefull and inventive what we got was a team easy to breakdown and totally out of ideas, we were being ridiculed by a bunch of pikley cack that after having noses rubbed into it all week by millwall,

If anyone thinks that deserved a polite applause as the exited to the side are mistaken blind loyalty is all well and good but sometimes you need to show your displeasure and thats what happened did it work well it didnt do any harm they played a hell of a lot better 2nd half but still failed to beat a team that has taken 2 points away from home in a year who left their arguably best player on the bench for over an hour.

am i Happy far from it, am i concerned we wont go up and will end up in admin hell yeah and why beacuse PP has been unable to build on a fine start with fine support with a team of players that as a whole are better than div 3
  • "What he said. A vocal minority wanted Curbs out and plenty more moaned about the style of football "boring mid table Premiership football" and that Curbs should go because he had "taken us as far as he can." The archives of 606, Talksport, Netaddicks, Your Views etc do not lie before people jump down my throat.

I can remember being asked if I worked for the Club on netaddicks when I remarked that we would rue the day Curbs left. This was some considerable time before he did leave when the usual suspects were moaning about him.

In many cases the self same people who are moaning about Parky now and who boo our players."

Haha You've killed your argument there Len, unless you are 'Kelvin of Sevenoaks'

You and 20,000 others knew we were in shit street when Curbs left as it was all a pack of cards built around him.

Anyway he's long gone we're £30 million (or whatever figure you wanna pull outta the sky) down the road, playing non-league standard football.

The 'told you so' merchants are just as bad as the suicide merchants like me.

Bottom line is we have been served up absolute garbage for a very long time now and the end is not in sight.

However, as its been said elsewhere nothing would be funnier than if we went up and in this dogturd of a league its still very possible.
