this is a f*cking disgrace. already booked my train tickets etc. the game is 3 and a half weeks away, they should not be allowed to do this. sky are a f u c k i n g disgrace.
Absolutely disgraceful. Train tickets booked some time ago (after Sky appered to have chosen their Football League schedule for the first couple of months of the year. Changed within a month of the original date.
Airman Brown - who should I direct my letter of complaint to, Sky, the Football League, Bristol Rovers, Charlton or all of them. Not happy is an understatement!

Totally agree. A rule should be brought in whereby a game can't be moved less than a month before a game.

shouldnt be able to change it once ticket details have been released and people have started to buy
Was specifically going to Bristol with the missus to visit some of her friends and go to the game for this one. That's out of the window now, thanks for posting though was going to book the train tickets this week.
Shocking to change the date when we've sold so many tickets and people have paid for transport.
Around 400 of Charlton's allocation for the trip to Rovers had been sold when eligibility was extended on Wednesday morning.
Any supporters requesting a refund due to the change of date should visit the Valley commercial centre in person or call 0871 226 1905. Fans who paid by credit card will need to have the same card to hand to have the refund credited to their account.
Charlton have 800 terrace and 1,000 seated places for the game, which are now on sale to all season-ticket holders and Valley Gold members, who can purchase two tickets apiece.
Very annoying. Was planning an all dayer with a Rovers-supporting mate. Also think we would have sold this one out, giving the team great support for what looks like a tricky fixture. Wonder how many we'll sell now?
Just checked... the last train home for me is BEFORE kick-off... pretty hilarious really, don't know what's worse, Sky treating clubs like their bitches in exchange for £140,000 per club per year or the fact that in 2010 in one of the most developed countries in the world you cannot catch a train after 7.41pm from Bristol to Yorkshire
As usual, the fans who pay to go week in, week out get crapped on by Sky. To change a game with less than a month's notice, and when the tickets are being sold, shows that the likes of Sky don't care about football fans.
I'm 20 notes out of pocket, re train fares for this, and i know that is the risk you take booking train tickets weeks before in advance, however what you don't except is this crap from sky.
Comments
Sake.
not on OS
This sux !
That's a bloody pain the the arse i'm not a happy bunny.
Out of interest does anyone know what kind of money the club get for a sky game?
Airman?

Booked 2 train tickets as well. Gutted.

That's 2 new grounds not ticked off now (unless you can count sitting in the car park at the Bescott after the game had been called off).

Be warned for future away trips now.
Quite right. I'm not going to pay walk-on fares, so I'm afraid CAFC can kiss my away support goodbye outside London.
