Mark Fish at the old Crook Log swimming baths- he was with his young son. Nicky Weaver nearly ran me over in Charlton Church Lane, (as did Sir Chrissy Powell in almost the same spot about a month later). Chris Iwelemu- sitting outside Starbucks at Bluewater. Christian Dailly- when he was at West Ham I saw him at Belgo in Upper Street- though I was more impressed with Denise Van Outen who was also there.
I would never notice anyone. Once stood in a bar in Hackney next to Eddie the Eagle, right at the height of his fame. There are not many people more distinctive looking than him, but I missed it. Didn't we have on loan under Pardew?
Also think I played against Paul Curtis (Dad name Eddie ? ) back in late 70's, when he played for Villacourt / Teviot ?? can't recall but taht well known irishman Cascarino played for them at same time.

Arthur Horsfield meet him while he was working at sorting office in Dartford. Peter Reeves while at work. Mark Reid Andy Peake Steve Thompson and John Pearson would drink in the Horse and Groom in Sidcup in 80s.

Not as quick as he was when I used to watch him at Selhurst but excellent movement all game, friendly & down to earth in bar after game as well.
He's always got a face like a slapped @rse, so have never felt like talking to him in case he tells me to do one.
