We've all either met - or know someone who's met - various Charlton players. Either in pubs, shops, supermarkets, etc. So I bet we could pick an XI of Charlton players we've met outside the "normal" bumping into them at the Valley, etc. I can start with Keith Peacock (Marks and Spencer, Oxford Street) Paul Walsh (The Bull's Head, Chislehurst) and Colin Powell (playing cricket for Downham and Bellingham). Who have you met outside a footballing context? The best ones I will place in the team below...
1. Dean Kiely (Costcutters , The Millers, TGIs)
2. Radostin Kishishev (The Glades, Bromley)
3. Chris Powell (Shag's mate's flat)
4. Eddie Youds (The Railway, Blackheath, Travellers)
5. Stuart Balmer (Zens)
6. Mark Kinsella (The White Horse, Sutton Coldfield)
7. Colin Powell (Downham and Bellingham CC)
8. Paul Walsh (Bull's Head, Chislehurst)
9. Shaun Bartlett (Sainsbury's, Greenwich)
10. Colin Walsh (Zens)
11. Keith Peacock (Marks and Spencer, Oxford Street; Albany Park Station)
Subs
Billy Bonds (Coral's, Chislehurst)
Paul Linger (Flamingos, Woolwich)
Franny Jeffers (Corals; City Airport)
Gavin Peacock (Ferraris)
Graham Stuart (Bluewater; Marks and Spencer, Bromley)
Jamie Stuart (Breeze Bar, Bexleyheath)
Gary Rowett (Diesel, Bluewater)
Bryan Hughes (Asda, Kings Hill)
Herman Hreidarsson (Spitfire Pub in Kings Hill)
Scott Parker (Bluewater by Burtons)
Steve Gritt (Tesco, Ruxley)
John Humphrey (Princess of Wales, Blackheath)
Scott Minto (Bon Bonne, Herne Hill)
Martin Pringle (Game, Bluewater; Ikea, Lakeside)

Keith Peacock - Albany Park Station, on the day it was announced he was going to west ham, he was parked next me and on the phone to curbs telling him
Paul Linger - Flamingos Woolwich. Tried to chat up one of my girlfriends mates. Was a bit of a cock tbh.
Jamie Stuart - Breeze bar bexleyheath. One new years eve was trying to get hold of one of the girls in our group. Was off his nut but seemed like a nice bloke (hated curbishley though)

Shag - I'm not sure this list of places shows you in a good light - I mean, ZENS! What on earth were Balmer and Walsh doing in there - apart from being a couple of dirty jocks in a Dartford meat market!
Francis Jeffers in Bexley Village just after he signed for us, spoke to him for a few minutes, seemed nice enough. Was wearing a hideous shell suit though.

Matty Svensson & Martin Pringle - Blacheath Village, both wearing the snidest jeans I've ever seen

A very tanned Mark Robson with his Mrs. in Lakeside, again he came up to me ;-)
Keith Peacock - the New Ming in Welling
Youds - any pub in Blackheath
Michael Turner - Sidcup train station
Jamie Stuart - Polo bar/Affinity/OHM/any bar in bexleyheath
Alex Ferguson & Eric Cantona - Gatwick Airport
( I know they had nothing to do with Charlton, but they were on their way to court in Croydon for the flying kick on a Nigel thing)
I also work with a bloke called Paul Curtis who told me he once played for Charlton, but can't find his name in any record books!
Paul Curtis was a right back in the 80's. Scored a memorable late winner at Fulham, our first away win for over a year.
My brother shouted out to Robbo as he went past and he gave a wave and a thumbs up!
played 1982-1985ish 69 appearances scoring 5
That was for LESSA at Eltham , must've been early to mid 90's . Smashing fella
