GOt what they deserved tonight unfortunately. Very defensive and they've been shamelessly playing for penalties. When you're choosing to concede throw ins near to your own goal when you're facing down field and under no pressure, like Murphy did just before Madrid scored, well, you're giving out all the wrong signals. Outclassed by Madrid and overawed by the occassion.
Shame, they've been great on their run to the final and didn't really do themselves justice tonight. Still, at least they can say they've been there.
im happy they lost if im honest,i dont want teams smaller than us in london claiming a cup before us,best team by a country mile won, they played for pens and got found out. respect for getting there they half earned there crack.
It was awful. They got what they deserved in the end. They deserved to make the final playing decent football and never saying die. They deserved to lose because they played negative football for most of the match
I assumed that Cardiff-Leicester was on tomorrow so it wouldn't clash. D'oh. Missed what looked like a decent match - for goals, anyway

Me and a mate watched Cardiff Leicester in a pub with 2 tellies, one at each end of the room.
Everybody else watched Fulham, but we saw the most fascinating match, end-to-end stuff, goals galore, decided after extra time on pens. And cynical Cardiff should have had a man sent off on 3 separate occasions for dangerous play.
But cheats always prosper. Bottom line though, the homer ref turned a blind eye in a hostile and intimidating atmosphere - he bottled key decisions pretending he hadn't seen them and wasn't big enough for the occasion.
Sad they lost but to be fair Athletic were the better team. Fulham fans came out of no were last night as we said we would. Im sure in a T4 Interview my missis was watching about a year ago Lilly Allen said she was a chelsea fan, fickle.

[cite]Posted By: Ru1986[/cite]Thought Konchesky done alrite though. Was making good runs but the ball kept getting played behind him rather than forward into his run.
Sloppy pass to give the ball away for the first goal though. Does get past the left mid and supports really well though

Who was he? Howard Webb.
On account of him being a total bell-end.

Really fair play to her then.
