Hugely recommend the Wild Beast album, really really good listen, they've managed to improve on Two Dancers, which is some going.

The soon to be released album from Rory Gallagher....... taken from a radio show with  a track from Rory.
Some of my photos/graphics are used, but that is an aside produced by Neil Youngs producer that Rory shelved.
Been remixed and well a great tribute to a man who gave everything to play music to his fan's!
The piano is by Lou  Martin who went to Bloomfield school in Plumstead, who I knew.
This is a slow understated number, unlike the raw blues that Rory is often known for.
Like Hendrix a demon on stage, but quite shy off stage, and as jimi once wrote ' when you are on stage that is  your whole life'
  • Nice one, Ken. I remember a story Gallagher's brother told about Van Morrison asking Rory Gallagher to work on an album with him. Gallagher was absolutely chuffed and cancelled the rest of the tour he was on at the time. He went round Morrison's house to discuss the details, and Morrison said he was just popping out to get something to eat. Gallagher waited about 2 hours then started to think, 'This is a bit odd.' Turns out Morrison had driven straight to the airport and flown to LA without telling him. Needless to say, Gallagher thought Morrison was a complete and utter c**t from then on.

Tired of playing every instrument himself, Todd Rundgren decides to make an album with no instruments at all, just layer upon layer of his voice and the odd handclap. Great vocal on a beautiful song
