Anna Calvi - One breath. I saw her live last night, and it was awesome. Supported by Bill Ryder-Jones formerly of the Coral... I'd not heard his solo stuff, and it's very low key but rather sweet.
Consistently the best metal/rock band around. I think Leathers, Gauze and Rosemary are my favourites off of KNY.
They put on a brilliant live show too. Back in the day, they were actually pretty ordinary live, but nowadays I don't think I've seen them in the past ten times or so where they haven't been superb.
Also incredible how they managed to come back after the bassist's horrific accident (who died a few months ago after a 5 year coma) with arguably their greatest two albums.
