[cite]Posted By: SantaClaus[/cite]He gives a platform for a more creative partner to run the game. We still haven't really cracked the creative partner bit though.
Maybe we could get Joe Cole on a free in the summer ;-)
Players like him only get noticed when they don't play
The only thing I'm not keen on with him is his knack of picking up mickey mouse bookings early on in games
Quality footballer, he does what he is paid for which if some of the professionals that have gone through our books did in the last four years we would not be in the predicament we currently find ourselves
Not only does he break it up but I thought he started a lot of attacks last night, Racon was not great last night and the Millwall hater covered his faults as well
I love him more and more (in a manly bloke sort of way) the more I read about him and things like this....with him fit and in our side all season, we have a chance.
Semedo is top drawer and should have gotten player of the season last year.
Semedo epiomises professionalism and pride in his game and for our club.
For me, the thing that cemented that belief in him last season was at the Valley: Charlton 0 - 1 Norwich.
Semedo played a blinder and for me was our best player on the pitch. Sadly, we needed a goal and he was sacrificed/subbed. Jose sprinted off the pitch, so as not to waste valuable seconds for us - there was no head down or sulking (as others have and would have done). He understood and accepted it on the chin like the true MAN and gentleman he is.
If Semedo spoke good English and was more vocal he would be my No. 1 choice for Captain. As it stands though, Dailly is my No. 1 choice... just.

And of course, mention of the crowd singing his name begged the question: are the famous lyrics true? Does he indeed ‘hate’ Millwall?
“Definitely!”, a laughing Semedo answered. “I have to say yes.”
as said above, is generally only really noticed by most when he doesn't play.
POTY for me by a mile...
A lot of people still don't get Keith Jones's role and how important that was to us, so don't expect them to appreciate Sammy Semedo
Exactly.
Was gonna vote for the big fella anyway. Now i hope he stays and becomes a legend.
No all bookings wiped after Southampton on 10 April so he is ok.
Still get bans for reds though.
He is a BRILLIANT GUY !
I was walking behind him and started humming the "Semedo song"out loud and he stopped, smiled and began chatting.
Said he was not leaving, loved CAFC and could not wait for the season to start.
We talked about the play-off sadness and he said "these things happen in football, we've got to get on with it and get promoted this time"
He also said we have a striker coming to us this week.
Top Bloke.
didnt think that players would usually be aware of any transfers until they happen, perhaps he might as he will be club captain?
fave player of all time:
1)Rufus
2)Bent
3)Semedo
Really the kind of guy we should build our team around and definitely worth trying to keep
Couldn't you think of anybody else ORH? Blimey I don't think Jose would even make my top 1000. Could start a thread on it I suppose?
I think Semedo is great, love his attitude
