[cite]Posted By: razil[/cite]My son who's just turning 14 months, is already moving his football with his foot (its his favourite toy) and kicking, he mainly likes picking it up tho, but has just started with his left peg.
Is this young to already be doing this? Should I get him an agent yet?
Never too early mate.
My son started kicking a ball at the same age and now he's just passed trials at Cambridge United and start in their acadamy in september. He's 7 years old.
My son went to the Q&A session yesterday and had a great time - asked Parky a few questions. My (not into football) Missus had to take him and even she was impressed with how great Parky and the players (Waggy, Mambo, Francis and Fortune) were with the kids. He's now looking forward to the 6 a side tournie.
I sometimes feel a bit guilty that I've pushed my son into being a Charlton supporter (especially as the last two games we've been to were rentford and Brighton) but there's no way he's get this kind of opportunity if he supported a big club.
Thanks to the club for putting this on and for Parky and the players for giving up their time.

That's good to hear. My youngest has been at Sparrows all week and will be rounding his efforts off in the 6 a side.

Agreed, I had the pleasure of accompanying Swerve Jnr down there yesterday. A nice light-hearted Q&A with some good questions from the Young Addicks, and fair play to the lad who asked Waggy how much his wages are (he didn't say) !
Plenty of time from all concerned for photos and autographs as well.
First time for my son - there was a mug, pencil, pen, note pad, some tattoo transfer thingies and a fe wother bits and bobs. Nothing massively exciting. The bag itself is quite nice.
On Saturday my youngest boy will be one of the Mascots courtesy of Young Addicks. I don't know who is more excited at the prospect - him or me ;-). Here's hoping we are crowned Champions on the day too.
Thanks to Wendy, Rick, Sue, Bob and everyone else involved with YA.

My son was for Chrissy's first game in charge. I was on the side of the pitch taking a video when Chris walked on to it for the first time as manager. I was definately more excited than my boy was!

Anyone else on here ever been a mascot?
I was at Oxford away (Manor Ground), I think we drew 1-1 and there was snow around the outside of the pitch.....great experience!
