As above, it was arranged on the pre text that the deal was done. As you know the pub gets busy with parties coming up to christmas in December and RM has a busy schedule so to tie those two plus DW's diary down took some time.
If Due Dil had not been completed i would have either changed the guest or called off the meeting. Fairly Simple and not odd in the slightest.
Have asked Matt Wright to put in the bulletin twice now. Not seen it so far. always think the day before or on the day a bit late. Oh well im sure this reaches a far enough audience to get 70 or so of us there.
City Addicks is always a great event but Richard is probably the best guest i've ever had the pleasure of meeting or seeing. Very open when he can be and the evening will have a real insight into what is going on in these difficult times.
If anyone doubts his devotion to our club come along and you'll know within a couple of minutes.
Looking forward to it- if you can make it, you must.!

"Murray talks
Alan Pardew, Scott Wagstaff and Rob Elliot led the way last week, and Charlton football club chairman Richard Murray will be answering supporters' questions tomorrow night.
Playing duo Wagstaff (before he departed for a loan spell with Northwich Victoria) and Elliot were the guests of Bromley Addicks on Tuesday, before boss Pardew paid a visit to North-West Kent Addicks two days later.
And now Murray will be out and about this midweek when he is the special guest of the City Addicks supporters' group.
He will be talking to fans from 6.30pm at the City Tavern, 29 Lawrence Lane, London EC2V 8DP, and everyone is welcome"

Would have been nicer a note the week before tho? I asked two weeks agao, I find the day before (really the day of the meeting) a bit too near for people to change plans.
But theres enough users on here, the email list and the Charlton Facebook website to get a good group down there.
Sorry B, I cant make it now.....having a bathroom fitted and I have to do some things tonight ready for tomorrow....Life is hell without a bathroom or kitchen at the moment and Im so sick of bloody take aways. Hope you have a great evening....just sorry I cant come along afterall.
