Last night was desperate. Great football until they scored and then it was like we subbed all 11 players. I fail to understand how a team can play so fluently and then fall apart. Speaking of indiviuals, I thought Primus was dreadful. Cranie at last showed he had some promise and Youga lost the plot midway. Someone previous posted feeling sorry for Pardew and I have to agree although only for yesterday. His management agasint Paalce was reactive rather than proactive and by then the damage had been done. Should he go ? Depends on the proposed takeover. If it does - then yes if not then probably no. It is Pardew's side right now and he needs to make it work. Bringing in someone else could probably be even more catastrophic.

As for a replacement, well that is the problem. Do Chappell and Waggott have a plan? I doubt it.
If no takeover, probably Kinsella. A legend but an out and out gamble.
On the other hand could someone like Kins turn out to be our very own Roy Keene? Weren't Sunderland in free fall before he arrived or am I remembering that wrong?

That worries me more than the takeover being off. Can we have a whip round and pay him off? Much as it would gall me to part with my own money for such a reason, I'd rather have Kins or Browny or Morts anyone with Charlton in their heart than him and his tripe at the moment.
