After work tonight I’ve found a note on my car that says “we understand you have a small car but please don’t park so close as we have trouble getting out. Thanks.”
Winds me up. I have no where else to park so if I see a space outside my work I usually parallel park in it. I try to make sure I leave enough space for someone to get out, after all, if I can get in comfortably then a moron could get out.
Who are these people who leave notes? Why can’t they try to speak to me in person?
They bloody printed the note out, laminated it and cut it ffs.
Just makes me want to park really close tomorrow now.
What, you want them to wait around all day on the off chance that they can speak to you at some point ?
Well it wouldn’t take a genius to work out I park there in the mornings and leave in the evenings at the same times everyday. Their office overlooks the parking as well so they could just nip out and have a word.
Long established conifer tree stumps. Doing some garden remodelling and I’m replacing six conifers with a fence and it’s breaking me. Managed to get the conifers hacked back so it was just the trunk quite easily and then lopping them down to four feet stumps was easy. However getting the stumps up is a bastard. Took me two hours to get one up after shovelling, chopping with my hand axe and sawing. My hamstrings are shot and I’ve pulled a muscle in my right arse cheek. Manual labour just isn’t for me.

You really expect that rather than a harmless note?

Yeah I don’t think that’s unsreasonable? I’d wait. We all park there at more or less the same time.
Hadn't really struck me about how much it costs until I saw a Dave Gorman show last night. He worked out, pound for pound, how much certain items cost. Epson printer ink (other makes are available) is about 10 times more expensive than vintage champagne.
bloody rip off. My printer cost less than £50, but I've probably spent 20 times that in ink over the past 5 years.
If you have a cheap printer, buy cheaper cartridges. Been buying recycled ones on eBay for years now, much cheaper and seem to last longer.

I do try & buy them as Asda for £5 each or 2 for £8, but my printer has recently started rejecting them & sending an error message saying wrong cartridge or not recognising them at all. Buggers.

I had the same when I started using generic cartridges golfie.

W@nker dog owners, woman brought a 10 month GermanShepherd to me after it bit her as she tried to get him out of his bed. Straight away spotted it had an injury and likely in pain, I refused to train her injured puppy and told her to attend the vet despite her insistence it was "growing pains" ?? Just found the dog in rescue looking for new home.

A reason why prospective dog owners should have to sit some sort of suitability of ownership test. Grips my shit that so many dogs are cast aside for some shitty reason or other only to be replaced five minutes later.
I've not read this thread for pages and pages so it might have been mentioned but using the word ASS instead of ARSE is completely unacceptable from anyone bar our American posters. You don't write pain in the ass. NO!!
Yes I'm looking at you offenders, two particulars one but I wont mention any names as yet.
Never had flu, always work through colds (including still exercising).
Only time I don't work or exercise is if I have any dreaded gastroenteritis type bugs. It's not worth spray painting my office with vomit and the shits, spreading the bugs because I'm too stubborn to allow myself to have a day off when it's really clearly best for both me and my colleagues.
They can have a cold though... They're just a minor inconvenience.
In fact that's one of the things that really pisses me off, when people work and they're clearly very sick with something thats making them vom, or shit up the toilet doors etc...
Don't bring that into the office you selfish scrote.
Retailers asking for an email address to send a receipt after a purchase. Not even subtle, they want to bombard you with their promotions and sales.
Won't be allowed after 25 May with GDPR.
Without telling you the things they'll use it for, they're not allowed to now. If they ask you if you want a digital receipt that's fine. If it comes with marketing and you aren't told, you can raise a complaint. Though come 25 May, it could come with a hefty fine if they're found to still be doing such things.
"Walk-on girls will no longer be used by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) after talks with broadcasters.
The long-established practice of women escorting male players to the stage will be abandoned, starting with this weekend's Masters in Milton Keynes.
World number one Michael van Gerwen has said the tradition should end.
But walk-on girl Charlotte Wood, who says darts accounts for 60 per cent of her income, says her rights "are being taken away".
"We regularly review all aspects of our events and this move has been made following feedback from our host broadcasters," said a PDC spokesperson.
Wood, speaking to BBC Radio 5 live, said: "Everybody chooses to do a job, and I feel like if I'm being told I can't do this job, then my rights are being taken away.
"I have chosen to do this job. I go to work, I put on a nice dress and I escort darts players on to the stage. I smile and that is it. I don't honestly see what the problem is.
"Where do we stop with this? I would be immensely proud if I had a daughter [doing the job of a walk-on girl]."
Former world champion Raymond van Barneveld is supporting an online petition to reinstate the walk-on girls. As of Saturday evening, nearly 15,000 people had signed the appeal.
"I will really miss the girls!! For me they are a part of the darts," Dutchman Van Barneveld wrote on Twitter.
The Women's Sport Trust tweeted: "We applaud the Professional Darts Corporation moving with the times and deciding to no longer use walk-on-girls. Motor racing, boxing and cycling... your move."
Formula 1's new owners said in December that they are looking into whether the sport should continue to use 'grid girls'."

Should get their opinion on having Grid-Guys who stand there wearing nothing but speedos instead!!
BBC bringing the blokes wages down to the women's rates, rather than the other way round
Why does that annoy you?
Those at the BBC earns too much regardless!!
Because, unless they're going to pay women back pay, or ask the blokes for the difference back, it's still unfair imo
Yet its no different to giving the Women Pay rises surely then?
If they were to do that would they again give the women back pay for all the months and years when they've been on less of a wage compared to their male counterpart?

New guy in the office has this habit, no tune to it and just a 5 second burst every couple of minutes followed by a lick of the lips.
WHY???
Notes just annoy me.

Not young enough to to stay up late and work (in Euro land so now 1.15) not old enough to stay up and not have to work.
Suppose I could just do my job properly. Seems a bit odd.
