0-3, continuing the rut we are in (past two games have been mostly a tough watch) and they have a little run going, not including the Cardiff result.
So they have a little run going , but we have been a hard watch?, do we not have a run going? Some might say a good one aswell.
Two opposing views one of negativity and the other  positive, like double edged swords :  )
Indeed, I’m finding the reason for negativity hard to find though🤷🏻‍♂️
  • Both sides will rightfully go into this confident of picking up 3 points. They've scored in each of their last 15 home games. They looked good against Coventry, high-tempo stuff. We're on our own good run, of course, and 1 defeat in the last 5 away. I feel we'll need to score goals to get anything out of this. 2-2.

Saturday marks 1/3rd of season, we’re in a play off spot, how many of us foresaw this ? It’s still long haul till May, but huge praise for our leader Nathan he maybe mad but he is ours and I love his passion and players have clearly bought in to his methods and are on a journey and he has got the Valley rocking with 20+K crowds….and Disney cowboys are 14th !

This will be a battle - lower league type ground and pitch, physical team - could be one for Anderson to get back in the picture - not so sure about Hernandez generally but 2 starts on the bounce seems unlikely after not playing much - I’d put tc there and put leaburn and tanto up top - gonna need to battle this one out - have knibbs and fullah as the finishers again maybe with Anderson as well

My guess is that Nathan will go with the same team as Tuesday, provided Hernandez is fit enough to start again. Bree has looked a bit fatigued in the last couple of games but his height and physicality will be useful against this lot. Ditto Miles Leaburn.

I'm sure that Tanto, Knibbs and Fullah will get minutes from the bench, although I agree that this is not the game to start Ibby. Apter is also likely to make an appearance if we have to chase the game and he's certainly got a point to prove.

There's nothing to fear at the Racecourse but I'd be well pleased to pick up a point and take the unbeaten run into the international break.

I feel like they're gonna be our bogey team. 1-0 to them.

Much different game this season … compared to last time we played there .. after Tuesday changes need to be made can’t go with Campbell and Leaburn again after Tuesday performance….. Olaofe and Apter or Olaofe with Knibbs playing Campbell role … Bree been off last 3/4 games , give him a rest …… after Tuesday pressure of us now in this game .. like to think we can get something a draw would be fantastic leading into the international weekend. .

A draw will be a good finish to this week and we can go into the the international break with our tails up. Pretty sure we will start with the same 11 as we started with on Tuesday. Will need the physicality of Leaburn. 0-0. I will be ecstatic if pinch this one with another 1-0.

For me personally this fixture is the biggest of the season as I’m surrounded everyday by fucking Wrexham fans who truly believe they are premiership and European football bound ! They totally get on my nerves and absolutely nothing would give me great pleasure than turning them over. Trouble is I don’t think we will the one bonus I have is that even with defeat we are still 2 points ahead of them

I can see us losing 3-0 and the international break has again come at a good time for us

I wonder how fit Bree is after Tuesday, he struggled after that challenge so will be interesting to see what happens. I think with no natural left sided player though, Jones will be desperate for Bree to make it through and they can rest him up during the break.

I also have a weird feeling we might see Berry as well for this one. Carey starts all day long, just curious as to how it all comes together as Coventry will definitely play too and we are likely to have Doc in the team.

Would be harsh to leave Hernandez out as he done well considering he was playing out of position and as much as I don’t think he done a lot at all, I’d be surprised if Leaburn was on the bench with Tanto starting.

Fullah will almost certainly come on and I’m excited to see what he can do in an away environment, it’s different to coming on at The Valley with the whole crowd cheering you on.

Keep a clean sheet and we win the game. Concede and we draw 1-1.

If my sixth sense is correct, we could line up something along the lines of:

    Kaminski
    Ramsay Jones Gillesphey
    Bree Coventry Docherty Campbell
    Carey Berry
    Leaburn

That box midfield will help win the battle and second balls and players like Carey and Berry picking them up in advanced positions could cause issues. Naturally, that team would also heavily rely on TC. Let’s see what NJ does.

TC has been ineffective at LWB whenever played there. Leaburn and Tanto lack mobility.

Be shocked if Fullah starts, don’t think this is the game to stick him in for at all. Should be building him up with more minutes from the bench rather than throwing him into a difficult game too soon. I’m sure he will start games at some point but patience is required

I’m sure it will be Hernandez at LWB, think he did a decent defensive job there which is what we will need against Kabore on their right. Let TC focus on attacking

Not confident, but hopefully we can escape to the international break with a result
This is my thinking as well, I think we'll be largely unchanged with maybe the exception of JRC for Bree due to fatigue/lingering ankle/knee pain from that incident on Tuesday.

    ................Kaminski
    ......Ramsay.....Jones.......Macca
    JRC.....Coventry.....Doc........Hernandez
    .................Carey
    ............Leaburn......TC

If we go with a box midfield to try to match then, I think it will be Knibbs for TC. But we'll see.

    Great preview FA.

    UTA.
  • Given our injuries at lwb,  it wouldn’t surprise me if Fullah starts up front with TC at lwb.  As bad as TC was at lwb the previous match,  that combo really worked on Tuesday

This is a big one - win this then go on a break with the buzz of an away win flowing through the club.

    Wrexham 1-2 Charlton

    Carey, Fullah

We owe them and their arrogance for last year.

Results have been unbelievably brilliant , performances not so much and I think that’ll catch up on us starting with some Charlton fans weirdest obsession fucking Wrexham .
I’m more certain we won’t win than I was that Docherty would miss the penalty.
if I was a betting man I’d be all over Wrexham at 2.34

Here’s a set of feasible results (~60/1) from this Saturday

    Cov beat Stoke
    Brum beat Boro
    Millwall and Preston draw
    Charlton beat Wrexham

If it comes off, Charlton would end the day in 3rd and only a point behind Stoke in 2nd.

I will a draw all day long .
I’d start Tanto over TC . He’s had too many poor games of late .
    I’m predicting a 1-0 defeat sadly .

Three of our 7 defenders are injured and our only two proper goal scoring strikers are out. We have no right to get a result at Wrexham.
    1-1

    1-1
So, looking at that logic, we have 4 defenders and given only two (?) goals have come from the strikers so far we are probably not going to miss them that much for this game

    • Wrexham have won their last three home league games against Charlton Athletic and have lost just one out of seven overall (W4 D2).

    • Charlton have won just one of their last nine league matches against Wrexham (D4 L4), a 1-0 win in February 1982.

    • Wrexham have won their last two home league matches – they last won three in a row in the second tier back in March 1982.

    • Charlton Athletic have won 23 points after 14 Championship games this season (W6 D5 L3), their best at this stage of a second tier campaign since 1999-00, when they had 29. They later won the league title that season.

    • Charlton’s Welsh manager Nathan Jones has won his last four away Championship matches in Wales, with this his first since a 2-1 win at Cardiff with Luton in August 2022.

The fixture I really dont want to lose as I cant stand being asked about Wrexham every time I mention I support a non Prem club, but sadly, think we will.

Like others I'm not a fan of the unbearable double standard love-in of the Wrexham "fairy tale".  I've been enjoying r/Championship on reddit, its decent for football chatter but my god, when the Rex-ham get the win the Disney crowd leave their sub bubble to join in.

Its going to be the hardest watch of the season. The Coventry result was a one off performance so far, with Parky keeping it real with the lump it up to Moore offensive line play calling.

Will take a 0-0 but expect the cast to put on a good performance and a 2-0 spectacle for the TV show.
  • The pattern of their last six games has been Lost, Won, Drew, Lost, Won, Drew.

the pattern from our last 5 games has been Won,Won, Drew, Drew, Won.

stands to reason they will lose and we will win

1-0 away win for the Addicks. Lloyd Jones header from a corner.
