Don’t know anything about him but whilst appreciating he can apparently play across a few positions, are we primarily expecting him to be a Berry upgrade?
Absolutely buzzing, I’d go as far as saying this is the best window we’ve had.
I agree that this appears to be an excellent window and it remains to see how it all will work out. However, and accepting that it was for the division below, I believe that the 2012 window under Chris Powell was transformative and will take some beating.
That window is definitely the benchmark. Sir Chris discusses it in the excellent podcast on Rich Cawley's Substack, I listened to it this morning. As others have already said, the "X factor" signing of Yann came after the season was a few games in. I wonder whether Knibbs is the X-factor signing in this window, in which case we are ahead of the 2012 window on that basis. Otherwise a lot will hinge on whether Kelman hits the ground running as BWP did in 2012.
I don’t have a lot of mates who support other clubs but I do know a Reading fan and have a cousin who supports Cambridge, so Knibbs is ideal for me! Here is what the Reading fan has to say about him:
“He's decent. An attacking midfielder/no.10 with an eye for goal and knack for arriving late in the box. He's also really combative, puts himself about and wins the ball back a lot. A great tackler. He deserves a shot at the Championship and should be a good signing for you.”
And here’s what the Cambridge fans says:
“ Knibbs is a decent fella, met him a few times, he is a good runner but was a liability in front of goal, but that was a couple seasons ago! So hopefully he has matured for this year.”

It's just nice to know we have brought in players who give us a chance of being as successful as they wish to be. Anywhere from mid table to promotion. A couple more cheeky signings, and we could be up there.
Our last season in the Championship i didn't start a 'Countdown To Promotion' thread.
Another one i did not see us getting in a million years
Class player, always a menace. Finds space, gets in space, is a pain in the arse to pick up, nippy, really sharp eye for a pass. Is 100% capable of playing top end championship football and beyond
Fantastic on many levels. Sounds like a great player that will improve us. A glowing departing comment from Noel and the amount of drama he has created without even playing for us is Shakespearean in nature. Fully expect a Tempest when he is on the pitch. Kept me entertained and chuckling during a tough week for me. Thanks Harvey and thanks to all the comments on here on the transfer thread that kept a smile on my face

If we get promoted next season, they can have one too.

We'll see how this one pans out.

It will be a fascinating watch 🙃😀.
