I see your Palace hoodie and raise the Millwall Christmas lights hoodie. I'm not sure I want to know what drugs the Millwall commercial staff were on when they decided what their clubshop really needed were those.4

The good news just keeps on coming for Cardiff fans. Having lost out on first choice Jones, it was widely accepted that the job would then go to second choice Aaron Ramsey.
Problem is Ramsey has just decided he isn't sticking around and has agreed a deal to go and play for Pumas in Mexico.2 -

I personally think that the way our fortunes turned after a terrible run of results and some atrocious performances is actually even more impressive than if we'd done a Birmingham or a Wrexham.
It's more impressive than Bowyers team because we had some great loanees. This has been our team with the odd exception. We have also been without Leaburn for a large chunk of the second half of the season.
I am sure I am not alone but when the season looks pretty much over in November and that most you can hope for is mid-table mediocrity, I imagined in fantasy mode that we might "go on a incredible run to turn the season around". I have had many of those fantasies over the years and they almost never happen. The last time was back in the early 1980s under Mike Bailey from memory. A very long unbeaten run that took us to 3rd place.
NJ turned it around. Players like Gillespie who was pillared became a hero. Matty Godden became the player, virtually no one thought he would be and suddenly it all came together.
When the brilliant SCP team was promoted we were immediately faced with the spivs ownership unravelling. In came the nightmare ownership of Roland with his barking mad ideas.
When Bowyers team secured promotion another nightmare ownership ensued.
It seems that not on the cards this time. I sure as hell hope so.29 -

A lot of credit has to go to the owners who so far have handled themselves quietly, in the background and have made all the right noises.
Yes that should just be standard these days but it isn't. I think they've been excellent so far32 -

We're doing well on the pitch, the right noises are being made off the pitch so we don't need to hear from them. I imagine if we were continuing to stave off relegation from League One, and they remained silent, then I suspect the opinion would be a little different.7 -
Posters have mentioned the turnaround in the season but it's more stark than that. In the last 29 matches of the regular season (from memory as I'm laying on a sunbed in Greece) we averaged 2.17 points per game which is close to 100 points and certain automatic promotion. But we started off equally as well. In the first 6 matches we also averaged 2.17 points per game. It was the 11 games in-between (coinciding almost exactly with significant injuries ?) producing only 9 points and relegation form that stands out as a contrast. Maybe the Jones effect, on a team not fully re-built, started earlier than we realised.
