Just read on two blogs about a rumour of a possible takeover bid, of Zabeel Investments, not sure how true this could be, but how would you feel if something like this ever happend just wondering. Please tell me if i have missed this on another thread ?

    If the club is seeking new investment to fund a real crack at the championship I very much doubt it will have anything to do with Zebeel. This organisation has massive debt problems which have not been resolved (http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/01/23/us-zabeel-restructuring-idUSTRE80M11W20120123). We had a lucky escape from this mob a few years back.

    Shades of QPR? .. a last minute bargain basement takeover leaving the team management (after all what the club is supposedly all about, i.e. football) scrambling around for players when all the best ones have signed on elsewhere

    Who's to say that my reference of 'tedious' was at the thread starter himself?

    If I think the talk of takeovers, cashflow problems, rumours etc is tedious then I've a right to say it is - and I don't need permission from you on your high horse either.

    God, I remember us all getting carried away with our big name signings last time we were linked with them! But as you said Messi will cheers us up no end!! :o)
