  • i havent, but that would be nice. they do decent shirts
  • the kids will like it.
  • Didn't we sign a four year del with Macron two years ago?
  • Didn't we sign a four year del with Macron two years ago?

Can only say what I was told?

I was told the club shop is selling all Macron gear less then half price?

  • I hope not , will be some crappy generic shirt from a catalogue. Just like Palaces shirt this season.
  • I hope not but not for design reasons.

The shirts are now 25 online
  • The white away shirt is only £25 in the shop now, might pick one up soon
  • Havn't worn a Charlton shirt since I was about 15 anyway!

Although I do like this seasons.
  • I thought we might be changing Macron as everything was going for peanuts in the shop. Hope it's not Nike though as they make some terrible kits. I've seen what is apparently Man Utd's new kit and it looks bloody ridiculous, though I'm hoping that turns out to be an elaborate joke.
  • No joke im afraid!

The fella I spoke too knows his stuff!
  • Good god. Have you seen it? It looks like a tablecloth. A bad tablecloth
  • Nike are rubbish with lower league teams at best, and you just know our kit will end up being a crap template. Here's 2 made on the Nike website:

    Photobucket
  • I like that kit on the left a lot . The one one the right is to much like arsenal .

  • A quick go on the Adidas website, would love a return to pinstripes!

    Photobucket
  • Would prefer Adidas or Reebok
  • Love this. Someone mentions we have a new kit/maker and people start coming up with their own designs like they are Gok Wan!
  • Keep them coming Sam. They look great.
  • We had this discussion before and I got shouted down for suggesting we have a niké or an adidas as they would be "generic" and the club wouldn't get as much training kit supplied. My counter argument was always that at least it would be a better standard and would fly out of the club shop as would all the other merchandise such as training stuff.

Would love adidas rather than niké but happy nonetheless
  • I been told Nike as well, but this was a few weeks ago, not certain how good my source is.
  • I like the adidas one on the left hand side!

Someone suggest it to the board...
  • I don't tend to buy replica kit but I do own a 10 year old Inter Milan white away shirt made by Nike and the quality is second to none.
  • I think the macron stuff is good.
  • The macron stuff is rubbish. Had two pairs of shorts that the seems came undone on within a couple of months and the sponsors come off the shirts pretty quick too.
  • Big fan of the pinstripe one.
  • Good god. Have you seen it? It looks like a tablecloth. A bad tablecloth

    Lmao
  • Like the Nike left kit same with Adidas.
  • I like that kit on the left a lot . The one one the right is to much like arsenal .

Really? We'll end up playing Wakefield Trinity or St Helens if we wear that.......shocking!

You don't need the accent over the e.

I wouldn't mind Nike or Adidas they are my 2 favourite brands for sports gear.

    After Donnay and Lonsdale (JOKE)
  • I said we'd get relegated in the Carbrini Joma kit. Henry said I'd be wrong... I wasn't.
  • like the left hand nike one, but would love us to have adidas
  • Nike are bringing out there new catalogue in April, I would have thought the new design will be from one of the new ranges as the present ones only have one more year to run.
  • Still have my Adidas Kit from 87 and on a good day after a period of fasting I can still slip into it.

Even templated, an adidas or nike kit looks
classier the Joma, Macron etc. Just a shame they are not more individual.

Saying that though the classic admiral kits of Coventry, Dundee, Luton? (with the two stripes) from the early 80s were the same design.
  • Four year deal with Macron http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/charlton_athletic/8537361.stm

Btw, Nike stuff is rubbish, if we were shifting, Umbro would be my choice, only company who seem to have an eye for design
  • Nike stuff is very good quality and umbro are owned by Nike.

  • Just generic designs, Umbro have been given the freedom by Nike to have an eye on nice design.

Btw, Villa have dumped Nike for Macron

I would love to see what Gok Wan comes up with!

  • Can I be the first to day I hate the new design and won't be buying it

    ; - )
  • Terry - I've heard the same.
  • Quite like the home kit by macron.

Obviously Macron isn't a big enough name for the Mysterions. Does the KRBS deal end in the summer?
  • dont do replica shirts but the old Osca pinstrip woolwich kit we had was ledge.
  • Tin pot designs for a tin pot league, bring back Bukta!
  • Love the pinstripe Addidas kit just need FADS as a sponsor
  • What are Oscar up to these days? Their white away pin of 83/84 was a classic surely.
  • Would like an Adidas kit
  • Nike or Adidas for me. They know what hits the spot with the kids (and lets face it, it should mainly be for them) and do some decent stuff other than just the kits. I'd happily spend more in the shop if it was decent stuff although we've had far worse than the macron gear. Nike or Adidas, like it or not, suggests success.
  • That pin stripe one is epic, would love it to be that
  • I won't buy anything made by Nike because they pay a vast sum to Man Utd. I believe the current deal has given Man U over £23mn per annum, they are asking for £35mn pa for the new deal and I don't feel like subsidising Wayne Rooney's wages.
  • i also heard this, heard its one of the so called bigger kit makers.
