[cite]Posted By: MuttleyCAFC[/cite]Done some digging with my contacts and won't say who I have been told it is but will give you a couple very hard clues - sorry - I won't elaborate so don't ask - if you work it out- well done. The first clue is a cryptic link - Colin, Alexander & Bruce (very difficult) and the second is the letter F (more straightforward). What I can say is, if my sources are correct the mystery person is not Jiminez, Wise or Sainsbury and has money. I am happy - think we have done well if what I have been told is right. This is not 100% but who it is thought to be by people who are usually right on these things. - my final word on this topic - no whispers.
ALEX Ferguson was once in a dispute with two irish horse racing enthusiast millionaires about ownership of a race horse. These two millionaires (John Magnier and J P Mcmanus) were once the majority holders in Man United through their company CUBIC EXpressions. (You can get CUBIC EX from that list of names).
Peter Varney is a regular attender of horse race meetings (so I have read on here).0 -
Muttley,
is it Penelope Pitstop?0 -

The buyer has stepped out of the shadows and I can reveal it is

Hank Scorpio[cite]Posted By: LenGlover[/cite]Hank Marvin.
Scorpio! He'll sting you with his dreams of power and wealth.
Beware of Scorpio! His twisted twin obsessions are his plot to rule the world and his employee's health.
He'll welcome you into his lair, Like the nobleman welcomes his guest,
with free dental care and a stock plan that helps you invest.
But beware of his generous pensions, plus three weeks paid vacation each year,
and on Fridays the lunchroom serves hot dogs and burgers and beer.
He loves German beer!0 -
[cite]Posted By: Off_it[/cite]You called JT?

Fair point but quite frankly everybody seems to.have been mentioned at some point.0 -
If they want to remain in the shadows until the deal's done then that's their business. I quit trying to peek at my xmas presents when I was about 7.0

300 Million, bloody hell, that would be fantastic... but I doenst solve anything, we still need the right manager(who Parky may well be) the right blend of players...
Money doestn guarrantee anything, it just makes it more likely, if we can get up this year and then buy a spine splash 5 million or so... we could well be in a very decent position...0 -
300 million would be an excellent start and I will now be very disappointed if it is anything less!0
-
Jonathan Acworth now on twitter suggesting we sign Tevez to Chicago Addick and then goes on to mention Parker, Defoe, Hangeland and Carson...0
-
Prepare to be disappointed then[cite]Posted By: Bagpuss[/cite]300 million would be an excellent start and I will now be very disappointed if it is anything less!0 -
and people are embarrased by the tottenham ticket thread0

Seeing as silly season has started I was told about a week ago that it was the guy who owns asia air and runs a formula one team and I believe his name is Fernandez. Didn't share it at the time as I didn't know if the source was reliable or not, still dont, but now muttley has brought it out I thought I'd stick in my twopenneth.0
-
That is Tony Fernandes, owns the Lotus F1 team. Was linked with taking over Norwich for a bit due to the location of the Lotus factory. I believe he's a Hammer as well.0

Why dont people just wait and see
muttley dont take it to heart your clues were too tough0 -
Maybe not Wse and Jiminez, but from Muttley's clues, I would hazard a guess that there could still be an ex Newcastle connection...0

Les Ferdinand?0 -
If anyone seriously thinks varney would represent jiminez & wise or a crook like Sebastian sainsbury you really are selling a top man like varney short.0

Freddie Shepherd[cite]Posted By: Weegie Addick[/cite]Maybe not Wse and Jiminez, but from Muttley's clues, I would hazard a guess that there could still be an ex Newcastle connection...0 -
kevin keegan alan shearer and jackie milburns great grandsons nextdoor neighbour fact0
-
Muttleys cryptic clue if it does relate to Lotus as suggested above maybe slightly wrong.
The founder of Lotus full name was ANTHONY COLIN BRUCE CHAPMAN, and that was the initals on the Lotus badge. Not ALEXANDER as he states0 -
This reads like another cryptic clue.[cite]Posted By: Ketman[/cite]If anyone seriously thinks varney would represent jiminez & wise or a crook like Sebastian sainsbury you really are selling a top man like varney short.0
