It comes up as Dixie Dean on a search - so likely to be SB in the 30s.stockportugaladdick said:
I am beginning to think sporadicaddick and tellytubby are correct, I never noticed the slight curve and extra space between the touchline and perimeter wall.SporadicAddick said:
I think more likely Stamford Bridge. If it was The Valley this would be the angle from behind the south goal so the East Terrace would be a bit more square on, whereas this looks like it has a bit of a curve.stockportugaladdick said:Having a bit of a disagreement, is this the Valley, yay or nay?I say yes but someone swears it Stamford Bridge?

This is from a few seconds of grainy b-roll from an HBO series on Spanish ultras. It’s from the 1982 World Cup. Thought someone might recognise themselves. 5 -

The guy in the top hat is Micky Walker, he lives down in Hastings, now goes to games occasionally but still mad about the Addicks.Lewis Coaches said:

I think the turnout was not far short of 8000. We ran into West Ham on the way back who made a quick disappearing act when they realised they were totally outnumbered.
We played Wolves early in the following season and there were probably only about 500 of us there, and Wolves fans were out for revenge. Let’s just say it was a lively afternoon.2 -
