Was a lovely fella but fourth choice keeper behind Bartram, Uytenbogaardt and Marsh so was allowed to join Brighton who were then in the Third Division.

Not a photo but a map - some people might be interested in the latest edition of the map of Greater London in Anglo-Saxon days, showing the location of "Cerletone" relative to other local villages. The substack article explains the process of drawing it based on surviving documents, there being no maps from anything like that long ago.
