Did not see that coming at half time. Sky commentators was rabbiting on about all the quality at Ipswich that they had two first choice starting line ups in their squad. Despite looking very very good at the start, it turned out that seven changes from the last game was a dumb idea.
Great performances from us all over the pitch and while we may not he the most skillful, we are a real team who play for each other.
I hope MacAuley Bonne remembers to send his Tractor mates a nice congratulations tweet .21 -

PWR. Watched the stream .... what a fantastic performance by Macca, cut out so many attacks and scored too, and Carey was great again. Fantastic result really, NJ must be delighted. COYR.5

Can’t remember us playing our game so well. Jones completely outclassed McKenna tactically. Everyone of those players put their bodies on the line today. Hero’s4

Just to put this into context, this is the first Championship game that Ipswich have lost at home since August 2023 (3-4 against Leeds), they lost just that one home game on their way to the Premier League, and is their first home defeat back in the Championship.
26-games without losing... and then Charlton showed up40 -
First class away win. Love the passion this team shows.
NJ got it spot on again.
Not sure where this might all end up but I am just starting to think what might actually be possible this season with a couple of classy signings in January? AND - I take back my thinking about TC and Leaburn - both superb when they came on. So proud of the club after so long in the doldrums. Well done.....5 -
On the train back. What a club3

Talking about their strength in depth … well, turns out that ours isn’t too shabby 😀ken_shabby said:Did not see that coming at half time. Sky commentators was rabbiting on about all the quality at Ipswich that they had two first choice starting line ups in their squad.6 -
What a team.
We know how to defend and we work so hard when we don’t have the ball. We’re always in the game.
What a change from 10 months ago!1 -
If it hasn't already been pointed out, substitute keeper Walton conceded four at the Valley when Dobbo got the last minute equaliser.13

God it feels good to be a Charlton fan again.
I love this squad and every player in it.
And Nathan Jones... Wow. He's taken this club from a L1 relegation battle to 5th in the Champ. He's doing an unbelievable job.
Buzzing.

What an outstanding performance from absolutely everyone. NJ’s quote that we are on a journey this is not the destination! Just might not be words of a totally crazy loon lol the players also seem to be on a mission and stranger things have happened.
this isn’t a dig in anyway but TC looked so much better coming on against a tired defence please NJ let him come on and not start for a few games and his confidence will rocket13 -

Oh dear... Never mind... To be fair that is almost impossible for the Lino to spot, and might be like that Japan / Germany scenario at the World Cupguinnessaddick said:

They had one bad result against Coventry who spanked them.Dazzler21 said:I can't imagine Millwank will keep going with that 0GD that's usually mid/lower table goal diff.3 -
A masterclass from Nathan Jones that was!Superb all round.2

Wishful thinking on the Sky Sports website Championship round-up...24 -
Given that the goalposts were wonky and not level with the line, I think Ipswich need to own that one 😝.guinnessaddick said:

He’s a Norwich lad right?LoOkOuT said:We looked a little behind the pace in the opening fifteen minutes of the first half. No one wanted to get on the ball when we had a chance and it was as if it was a game of hot potato. Except Sonny Carey, who was brave and up to it the mad bastard. Then in the second we were lobbing grenades left, right and center. They couldn’t cope!
Proper Norfolk boy. Bet his family extra enjoyed that.
My train is just about to arrive to Norwich. Its mostly full of grumbling Ipswich fans
