Was someone I wanted on loan for a couple of seasons because he always looked good against us but has massively struggled with injury.fenaddick said:

I think he scored against us for Donny at the beginning of the 2020/21 season, when a small number of supporters were let back into stadiums. I remember Charlie Barker scoring an unlucky own goal.2

Kanu needs a L1 loan. Mbick will be kept in the U21’s/6th choice ST. Think AMB will stay as 3rd choice now, happy being the 3rd choice, on low wages, no real L1 interest and considering Mannion is one of the more injury prone Keepers out there think it’s worth having a better 3rd choice keeper than most. Jones has said previously how he likes a squad of 25 which includes 3 GK’s. Currently have a squad of 25 with Fullah/Rylah as emergency wingback cover, Kanu to go on Loan to free up space for a new wingback cover to come in and I reckon that’s us done for the summer.soapboxsam said:We are nearly done unless we get an injury in the next couple of weeks for incomings.

As much as Armstrong makes incredible sense from a profile point of view and what NJ likes we just don’t need another forward unless Kanu, Mbick were to suddenly go on loan tomorrow and another one/two of our strikers was to get season ending injuries0

We already have 4 forwards who are unproven at this level. I can’t see bringing in one who has been pretty poor in the championship. If an experienced forward who could get us 5-10 goals were available, I could us signing someone to hedge our bets but not bringing in another project with potential0

Armstrong has everything you need physically but technically he is a poor footballer. He’s an ok sub as he can cause chaos against a tired defence, but we aren’t exactly short of players that can make a good impact from the bench. Hope that’s a bullshit rumour and I’m pretty sure it will be6
