Daniel Kanu, and Kai Enslin the next ideal names to head out on loan somewhere... Maybe Ashley Maynard-Brewer to depart on a perm now, but he's already said that he's happy to stick around.

Who else could we yet see depart before the end of the month?
Judging by last week, Henry Rylah needs a loan too
  • Wouldn’t have let him go personally unless we’re bringing in another cb.
Last season we had Macca Jones Ramsay as a back 3 with Mitchell and McIntyre as cover. From Feb onwards they both got 500 minutes between them. Now we have Macca Burke and a 6th centre back in Zach as cover which we didn’t have last season. Think all this talk of injuries is looking at worse case scenario rather than what’s likely to happen. Would have preferred Zach on loan to Alex but I don’t think we’re now suddenly left short it’s not like our back 3 is going to suddenly all get injured tomorrow

I was at Wrexham and Peterborough away when Jones was playing on pain injections as NJ didn't rate the backup. We got pummelled in both.  Good back up is crucial in a long, hard season.  ZM is a long way from proven and Burke seems to never be fit.  That has to be a worry. Hopefully it is not a problem and ZM is up to it if/when called upon.

There was only 6/46 games last season where we had 2 cb’s injured at the same time. Presuming there’s a similar trend this season we have Macca and Burke who are both more than good enough as cover I know Burke doesn’t seem to be fit but we would only really need him when we have multiple cb injuries not all year and with Zach I think it’s impossible to judge whether he’s good enough or not because we haven’t seen him in proper league games yet

Alan Nixon now reporting Ahadme to Stevenage
    Nixon gets one right.

I'm aware of interest lower down the pyramid for him. Pretty sure at least one League Two club is keeping an eye, so I would hope he can find a move to get him game time.

Pleasantly surprised by that as I would have thought NL was more realistic

So do I when all is said and done. I think the right club for him, that has "good habits" (to pick up on some phraseology our coaching staff has used about loans to sides that might still have semi-professional tendencies), would probably see him end up at hopefully a decent NL side, in terms of balancing professionalism/game time/his ability

  • Bonne is available!
  • Surely Bonne is only on the verge of professional footballer at this point?

Surprised Egbo turned down a deal at Colchester, and that he's not been picked up - good player at that level.

Bauer, Bonne and Lualua I think injuries, being shite, and age respectively has caught up with them.

Bauer for cover now we've loaned out Mitchell ?

I suppose as they are all free transfers clubs don't have to worry about the transfer window & can sign them up afterwards if their deadline day deal doesn't happen.

Also still a big fan of Kasami for scoring an absolute worldie against Palace.

Hope Bauer gets something soon.Surely he’d do a job for. Lower half L1 side?

On the other hand I hope Bonne ends up as far down the pyramid as possible.

Maybe Jackson would give him a trial at Wimbledon.

He's played 12 games in 3 years - don’t keep up to date with Preston enough to know if that was all injuries or also just the manager not rating him, but it would worry you as a club that he'll spend more time with the physio than on the pitch.

Am surprised the likes of Reach, Bauer , John-Jules and Jamal Blackman haven't got L1 deals yet.

Adam Reach as a squad player is the only name that might interest me. I thought he did well for Wycombe in the games we played them.A versatile left sider who could cover Edwards and also others further forward.

    Mixture of both

    Reach around still?
    Can’t see a happy ending.

If we loaned out Z Mitchell as well I could see the case to bring in Bauer purely for cover on a deal until January where I guess we’d be able to recall one of the Mitchell’s if that happened. Not a ridiculous idea to warrant an LOL on your post.

Guessing you've gone for Bauer, Bonne, Egbo and LuaLua. Nathan Harvey was with us too

Wimbledon ain’t got the budget to be taking risks on player fitness

I remember John-Jules being a highly rated prospect a few years ago.

Always terrified me when he’d get the ball against us but often that felt misplaced
