Dixon gone to Crawley on Loan12
-
Seems like a good move for Dixon. Local enough that he doesn’t have to uproot but should get plenty of game time as Crawley look terrible so far4
-
Great move for Dixon he could flourish there.3

We were under an embargo because of him. Less money spent on himself would've meant better loans in Jan and keeping Conor. Matt fucking Southall is why we got relegated. He is why we had to play kids. Yes, 🐍 could've saved us, but we never should have been in that position the first place.
For the avoidance of doubt I am no apologist for Matt fucking Southall.5 -

Caveat is that I'm passing on what I heard five years ago so perhaps I should have prefaced my comment with that. I am not ITK and do not profess to be.7 -
Classic Chelsea and loanees. Carlton Cole, Smertin, Gallagher. All cut short.2

When it comes to loans, I’ve long been of the opinion that, as long as the number of loans a club can have is limited (which is a rule already in place), the onus should be on the lending club to cover most, if not all, of the player’s wages. Suppose lending clubs had to pick up a minimum of 75% of wages for example. This would help smaller clubs to be able to afford better players, while also discourage the big sides from hoovering up talent and loaning out 50 players every season (I’m looking at you in particular, Chelsea, Spurs, Man City) and in turn encourage young players to stay at smaller clubs to continue their development.
But it won’t ever happen, because it would require a handful of big fat selfish turkeys who hold all the power to vote for Christmas.1 -

If I remember correctly, we wanted him for the 2nd season, and had an agreement in place, and didn’t happen1 -
Brandon Williams gone to Hull, given they have an embargo they’ve somehow got serious pull0

It was a 2 year loan but the second season never happened.
A lot of the games missed were due to the roasted alleged gang rape allegations3 -

But I've come round to NJ's view that we should be sending ours out to get experience that will benefit us, rather than the other way round.
However... We are now a Championship club, and if we do well before Jan, we could get 1 or 2 gems on loan for the final push.
Who knows.2 -

Williams' mother runs a greasy spoon cafe called Snack Attack at Harpurhey Market, with a number of photos and newspaper clippings about his career adorning the walls.[27]
On 20 August 2023, Williams was involved in a traffic collision near Handforth. He was subsequently charged with dangerous driving and driving without insurance.[28][29] On 14 March 2025 Williams pleaded guilty at Chester Crown Court to dangerous driving and driving without third party insurance.[30]
On 3 May 2024, Williams was disqualified from driving after accumulating 30 points on his licence.[31]
On 23 May 2025, he was sentenced to a 14-month jail term, suspended for two years.[32]

I said before I'd have taken Williams to compete at LWB.
But it's boom or bust he either knuckles down and get s back to Utd Ipswich levels or he doesn't change and falls away. From what I've read I think I think turn it around and become an asset again.
Braziliance will probably joke that he's a stereotypical drug addled, womanizing, criminal layabout.

Notice Gomez came on as sub for Liverpool last night, although Liverpool defence was bad, will Gomez be leaving?

Liverpool even under Klopp alway loved to get players forward including Robertson and the sublime but slow TAA but that was no problem as Van Dijk and normally konate would cover any counter attacks with whoever was playing the 6. Van Dijk is still a great player but is making more mistakes now and Konate had a stinker last night. Against Palace the new guys were still learning and Van Dijk was a tad shaky.
As for Joe Gomez will he ever leave Liverpool other than on a free as Liverpool reward him in a year or two for his longevity ?
Charlton thought they had a good deal with the 3.5 million transfer with add-ons but the biggest money to come to CAFC would've been a decent percentage of a possible 50 million transfer at his peak but that never happened...2 -

Marc Guehi could well go to Liverpool for 35 Million now he's in the final year and Steve Parish has said their captain needs to sign a new contract or they need to sell though it could be 50% less than they could have received from Newcastle last season. Unfortunately they won the Cup so good decision by SP and the owners.0

Think £35m is a bargain for Guehi10
