  • Would Mwamba potentially be one that goes on loan or more likely he stays around and plays every week for the U21s?

  • How’s Fullah playing? Haven’t seen much of him to be honest.

Does he offer a lot all round or more individual bits of quality?
    Yes and YES
  • FT 0-3, good result with some nice play from both sides, and a double from Gas into the bargain after a first half Carey strike of a deflection, anyway on to Watford now Nathan...

In L1 I’d have kept him for pizza cup games but can see an argument for loaning him out to someone like Southend (if they are full time). Midfielders like him need to learn the physical aspect and that doesn’t happen in youth football
  • Bit of a mess from Bennett at the end there, should've been a pen

I meant it in a really good way….

I know Jones likes Anderson and I like his work rate but his passing is infuriating for a professional footballer.
That’s something you simply won’t get away with in the Championship as Brownie mentioned

Had a reasonable cameo apart from that though...

  • Stream froze on about 75 mins, and couldn’t get it back, was it 3-0 in the end?
  • Kevin Lisbies son scores for Colchester
Another one came on as a sub for Peterborough away to Cardiff.
  • Fullah is taking the piss with that turn and effort
So obviously doesn’t need a years loan sloshing around in L1 or L2.

Scouts must look at him and think he’s not big physically, but he doesn’t need to be, so comfortable on the ball and a great football brain - not always obvious though because he’ll be patient, keep possession and wait for the right time, rather than constantly looking for the Hollywood pass or shot like say a young Shelvey.

Yeah Southend are FT so could be an option. Agree that the physical side of the game is something that just can't be learned in the U21s
  • The great news is that it was only a couple of months ago we got Fullah signed up to a new long term contract - he’s going to be some player.
    The lad is Fullah promise

  • Been impressed with Fullah all pre season but that turn and shot at the end shows me he’s another level to the other youngsters we’ve seen come through recently. Quality player
  • Another good run out think NJ got a massive headache who starts .. squad looking good today Carey stood out for me .. good to see Ahadme not only score but led the line very well .. and I think we should offer Bennett a contact as back up he been pretty good …

    😉
  • The game today has brought more problems than solutions I think

Fullah needs to stay with the squad
Ahadme looked a different player to last season holding up the ball and linking play

concerning that Miles wasn’t part of the squad is he injured or is there transfer interest?
  • I was v impressed with Fullah and his energy from the moment he came on
  • Ahadme and Godden up front v Watford for me.
Somebody on X has posted that Godden has had an operation. No idea how true it is,
