    Agreed - Hoping that JRC isn’t too badly injured, because we will struggle if Doherty has to start many games. I love his work ethic, but he can’t see a forward pass quick enough. It’s either a back to goal volleyed “hit and hope” or sideways pass, which will just put us under immediate pressure in the championship.

    Been impressed with the link up between Apter and Carey clearly have a good understanding from their time at Blackpool. Ramsey absolute class as usual and Bell looks a really good pick up on a free. We look a bit powderpuff going forward, playing far too many long balls over the top straight into their centrebacks. Would like to see oloafe come on and form a partnership with Kelman.

    Same as has been said by others. Docherty was a solid League One option but I just can’t see him doing much in the Championship.

    Nothing against him personally, but I think he completely kills the balance of that midfield. Need a player that is more dynamic.

    We really do need to show the gap between the clubs and get at least another couple of goals as a minimum second half...
