    Interesting that Southend are pressing high (and well) but we’re holding onto the ball a lot longer before hitting it long. NJ clearly working on us retaining possession more in anticipation of seeing less of the ball

    Goal Carey. TC wins the ball high up the pitch, ball gets played out to Apter who passes to Carey whose deflected strike goes in

    Lot of the comments I read from Luton fans said he was a bit shakey with his feet.

    Nice to see Kelman holding the ball, and finding Apter with the pass, but you could mention Campbell and Casey for their work and movement in that goal

    A real asset for Carey. He may not have the quality of Knibbs but having an understanding with one of the players we want to be a key attacking player is very important
