That was before his bad kneeSwisdom said:Saw a tweet earlier that said he has the most tackles in L1 over the last two years.
I saw a Reading fan saying he was amazing at pressing and can run all day
hw sounds exactly what Nathan wants in a player
Bravo!8 -
Us real ITKers like me knew all the time what was going on . No surprise to me at all.14

Leave it out. I've been slogging it out for years on here, and you want to give them a promote for spending a drop in the ocean.CaptainRobbo said:
Or given a promote at the very least, sort it out modsMintoHumbugs said:I would like to see Friedman, Brener and Co knighted immediately.
If we get promoted next season, they can have one too.5 -

I notice you posted the edited version but think it's only fair to show the pre deleted one.ForeverAddickted said:

Don’t know anything about him but whilst appreciating he can apparently play across a few positions, are we primarily expecting him to be a Berry upgrade?6

That window is definitely the benchmark. Sir Chris discusses it in the excellent podcast on Rich Cawley's Substack, I listened to it this morning. As others have already said, the "X factor" signing of Yann came after the season was a few games in. I wonder whether Knibbs is the X-factor signing in this window, in which case we are ahead of the 2012 window on that basis. Otherwise a lot will hinge on whether Kelman hits the ground running as BWP did in 2012.Mametz said:
I agree that this appears to be an excellent window and it remains to see how it all will work out. However, and accepting that it was for the division below, I believe that the 2012 window under Chris Powell was transformative and will take some beating.Yann897 said:Absolutely buzzing, I’d go as far as saying this is the best window we’ve had.

And here’s what the Cambridge fans says:Exiled_Addick said:I don’t have a lot of mates who support other clubs but I do know a Reading fan and have a cousin who supports Cambridge, so Knibbs is ideal for me! Here is what the Reading fan has to say about him:
“He's decent. An attacking midfielder/no.10 with an eye for goal and knack for arriving late in the box. He's also really combative, puts himself about and wins the ball back a lot. A great tackler. He deserves a shot at the Championship and should be a good signing for you.”
“ Knibbs is a decent fella, met him a few times, he is a good runner but was a liability in front of goal, but that was a couple seasons ago! So hopefully he has matured for this year.”2 -
It's just nice to know we have brought in players who give us a chance of being as successful as they wish to be. Anywhere from mid table to promotion. A couple more cheeky signings, and we could be up there.PragueAddick said:

Our last season in the Championship i didn't start a 'Countdown To Promotion' thread.
We'll see how this one pans out.

Another one i did not see us getting in a million years
Class player, always a menace. Finds space, gets in space, is a pain in the arse to pick up, nippy, really sharp eye for a pass. Is 100% capable of playing top end championship football and beyond10 -
As I said on the rumours thread a while back, the man is a Nathan Jones wet dream. I mean, just look at this…

I love him already and he can’t put a foot wrong0

Fantastic on many levels. Sounds like a great player that will improve us. A glowing departing comment from Noel and the amount of drama he has created without even playing for us is Shakespearean in nature. Fully expect a Tempest when he is on the pitch. Kept me entertained and chuckling during a tough week for me. Thanks Harvey and thanks to all the comments on here on the transfer thread that kept a smile on my face1

Will the Club release a 'Behind the scenes' video of the failed medical.
It will be a fascinating watch 🙃😀.

Not to mention the ongoing injury picked up in the medical.up_the_valley said:Welcome Harvey. Must admit I was bit peeved when this one 'stalled'.
Bench place only against Watford im guessing. Don't want to risk injury having had no pre-season.2 -
What injury? We would not have handed out a 4 year deal if any injury of concern was picked up. Reading playing the game is my guess.Powell2ThePeople said:

So excited for this one, if Nathan Jones could build himself an attacking midfielder in a lab, he'd come out with Harvey Knibbs6

All this business about the best windows:
Double glazing took off in the 80s and Lennie did the best business ever in the summer of 85.4 -
