That's rough. A League1 player not being able to agree terms with a Championship side is odd, makes me think he has more than one offer. Cause there's no way Knibbs goes back to Reading & another year of League 1 if he had our offer on the table surely.

Sometimes there a cooling of period where both parties perhaps need to re think .. if as I read he very disappointed that the move as not happened there still might be a solution that can be reached … last thing Reading want would be a player who heart not really in it ??bobmunro said:

The timeline for me has been: I was told all was agreed and Knibbs was at SL on Monday, he was at the game on Tuesday and took part in drills and I was then told it was “done” last night. No reason to doubt the person who told me at all because they told me about Kelman, Fukuda, Bennett, Assimwe and some other bits earlier in the window. Seems like something has happened at the 11th hour, whether that be a change in personal terms or something coming back on a medical that was unexpected but I really don’t know at this stage. If I hear I will say, but it is a shame because he was the No.1 target from the beginning of the window. I personally thought he would be a great addition and the most exciting one. Hopefully we get clarity from some of the journalists involved when they talk to the managers.7 -

Just to add the amount of work gone into this transfer like the Kelman transfer, if it something that can sorted out got to be better then wasting all that time and having to start again ??5

If people are passing on what they've been told by way of rumours, then I'd still like to hear it. If they've made it up, then I don't. Knibbs was a strong rumour as posted by those more ITK than me, so something unforseen has happened. There's no need for forum willy waving and digging out posters from other sites. We move on.

I’m not around at the moment and only caught up with the mornings posts but I can see where this is going.
Do me a favour please. If you want to dig out people and n other forums or platforms, go on their forum, Facebook or Twitter or whatever it is they use and have it there. Don’t due here. We’ve got no interest at all if it’s not reciprocated and shit flies this way, we don’t want tit for tat stuff on this forum so please respect that.

The10 position now looking iffy. Berry is not match fit and Carey still a bit of an unknown quantity. From the games so far the one who looks most impressive in that position is Fullah, but he is so new to mens' football1
