Difficult news for kelman if true as likely thought getting Knibbs would mean he had supply from midfield. Now will be relying on Tanto to be less selfish, look up more and spot his runs. Feels like a step back for everyone. Wouldn't mind if it means Fukafa comes through.5

Knibbs has never been our player so not sure how it can be difficult news for Kelman.3 -

We could try moving Apter in the 10 role/ Campbell role think with his direct running he could be as good if not better then Knibbs in that position , then we could take a chance on foreign RWB ??5

It's a shame as I was quite excited about Knibbs, maybe the most of all our signings so far. An advanced player in the Anderson/Berry pressing high role who can also finish regularly seemed like the perfect fit for our side. Still, as long as we don't know why it's fallen through we don't know if the move can be resurrected or not. Could be that we've seen he's going to be injured for a bit and gone back asking for a fee reduction that Reading wouldn't agree to, which would tally with Hunt saying we haven't reached an agreement with them. Who knows though, I'm sure Cawley will find out more soon enough5
