    The Blackpool opinion was that Apter will make an even better 10, than wide midfielder.

    But we'll see. It's not our opinions that count, not even Ronnie's.

    So far we've only seen Apter in the Small role - so for now, that's what NJ is thinking.

    Even if the Knibbs deal is off for the time being it doesn't mean it won't back back on in a few hours time.

    Let's just wait and see what happens over the coming days.

    My best guess... fee & terms agreed. Medical threw up an issue. We asked for a reduced fee. Clubs haven't agreed new fee.

    But yet we still got promoted and the second most inform in the 72, plus added 8 players, I’m as gutted as the next person about Knibbs but it really isn’t the end of the world . There’s still another 4 weeks of the window too.

    Knibbs would have been a quality signing but I still have absolutely faith NJ and Chapple will find the No10 they want to fit the system. Would expect Donley is back in play once he's back from Spurs tour of Korea.

    Yes, maybe after seeing the trialists in action Nathan decided that we really do need to spend money on a rwb and maybe we are going back to Fukada. We also have a number of midfielders so maybe that position can take a back seat for now.

    Dai isn't around anymore, it's Rob Couhig the ex Wycombe owner now.
