Given how massive they are, £5,000 seems remarkably tiny pot.

I thought that I’m confident that if we were in that situation we would raise more than that on here ffs

Given they're in Yorkshire, £5,000 seems a massive pot.

An example where having a supporters trust has done some good.
One of many examples over the years up and down the land where the existence of an organised supporters has been a positive.

Wednesday fans are hoping the “collapsed” deal is that of the Italian buyer that would appear on the face of it to be frying pan to fire situation. Textor seems to be the fans choice should a sale happen.

    Yes well done Captain Obvious.

Perish the thought of trying to make a light hearted reference to the ever increasing North/South divide eh?

Actually does that mean they’re only massive comparatively? Move them to London and they’re pretty small, say the size of… Leyton Orient for example?

I don’t want them to fold either but there comes a point when somebody (other than a minnow) has to be held to account to show other clubs they can’t behave in this way. Most clubs are run in the correct manner but some are flying close to the wind an example of Sheffield Wednesday is we like other clubs are atm trying to sign players on our agreed budget, these bastards sign players (to the detriment of other clubs getting relegated) and don’t even pay for them !!

There must come a time very soon that the EFL make a decision. Should SW be allowed to start the season knowing that players aren't being paid, that they can't sign players (with some leaving because they can "hand in their notice") and that they might have to play youngsters who obviously wont be up standard.  Better they don't start the season than play for 2 months & then collapse, with any points being expunged.

Also....is a points deduction the next step or has the transfer embargo made that null & void (double jeopardy).
