Don’t like the shorts but do like the shirt and socks. Depends on the 3rd shirt of course but that’s the one I’m getting at the moment

I like the exposure Macca is getting, Wembley goal aside, he's gone from a "bit part" player, to justifiably questioned at times with the errors he'd make... to suddenly this solid pairing with Lloyd Jones, and being part of a kit reveal

I know Jones cant be sentimental, but I hope he gets a chance this coming season.

It’d look nicer without the black trim on the collar and the sleeves. I’m not a fan of the black logos either but I’m not sure what colour would’ve worked to distinguish them.

Like the inspiration behind it. I will leave it there.

Decent. Blue shirts and white socks.
Hopefully black away kit so we can wear reds shirts and black shorts with white socks at Pompey. As standard.

Mad but strangely nice, is it a blue shirt smeared in tartar sauce though?

    That is absolutely hideous
Arguably the worst kit I think we’ve ever had including the green and purple numbers 😂

All based on when the players were given free fish and chips back in the day

Totally agree m8. Remove the sponsor and the black trim and it’d make a cracking training top.

Didn’t read any description and just stared at it for 5 minutes like you would a piece of abstract art. WTF is it all meant to mean - who knows? Can only conclude that the designer was on LSD when they took to their task but fair play I like the crazy little b*stard of an output. Will look good with blue jeans and different than our usual kit types. 4/5*s.

White shorts with blue trim would've worked better imo. Not really a fan of this one but at least we now have a supplier that's trying something a bit different.

It’s definitely a marmite kit. I like it myself.

Im hoping my boy won't like it but that's very unlikely. This season is going to cost me a small fortune!
Why? How many shirts do you buy for him?

Are the bits that look sort of Tyne Bridge-y supposed to look like the Wembley Arch?

I’m in the minority, really don’t like that.
Obviously going to buy one for my son, as I bet he likes it when he gets home from school  :D

Designed by Reebok, the bespoke kit takes inspiration from the club’s roots. The all-over tonal aquatic blue, white, and grey fish scale pattern pays tribute to the fish puns on Charlton Life.

    Anyone going to own up?
    Bit risqué 😜😜🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for that! That’s put me off my almond croissant. That said, could have been worse with a battered sausage.

The ‘inspiration’ stuff gets more and more bollocks each time.

The kit pays homage to Charlton fan, Floyd Rose, who as a young fan playing in the dusty SE7 streets once kicked a multi-coloured Mitre football over the gates of the East Stand. Undeterred, young Floyd stole his convicted thief of a dad’s bolt cutters and broke his way into the ground to retrieve his ball so his friends could continue playing.

Floyd’s actions of resilience, determination, sustainability, family focus and community spirit are synonymous of the ethos of Charlton Athletic…
