Well people have been asking for non retro and theyve certainly achieved that, I like that a lot (even though the sponsor logo is huge).

Looks more fitting for a third kit to me but seems to be going down well with fans which is a good thing.
  • This obsession with 'kit' launches when they only show the shirt... what colour are the shorts/socks...?

You see them briefly in the video. Light blue shorts, white socks with light blue top.

Black third kit then or something completely wild? Trying to figure out the obvious kit clashes for the 2 kits that'll need the third kit.

    The description haha 🐟

Designed by Reebok, the bespoke kit takes inspiration from the club’s roots. The all-over tonal aquatic blue, white, and grey fish scale pattern pays tribute to legendary local fishmonger Arthur Bryan. Charlton’s nickname, The Addicks, originates from the haddock meals Bryan provided to players - and he was also believed to be one of the club’s earliest sponsors.

Purple and Green please - but will probably be black.

That is really nice, bet we hardly wear it this season now because we're not obligated to wear it away.

Charlton’s nickname, The Addicks, originates from the haddock meals Bryan provided to players - and he was also believed to be one of the club’s earliest sponsors.

The shirt features a simplified badge woven into a subtle herringbone texture. Additional design details include flat-knit ribbed cuffs, a v-neck collar, and a stepped hem. The kit is completed with aquatic blue shorts and white socks, which feature the Reebok logo on the front and the word Addicks on the back.

I knew this one would land well. Along with the third - we have a lovely set of shirts across home, away, third and GK.

I think it good they are trying something a bit different, but swing and a miss on that one for me, especially the back.

Do think it looks worse close up so maybe better on the pitch than as a fan wearing it, at least.

Rubbing through red teams in my head now, Bristol City, Sheff Utd (might wear 3rd because of the white?), Middlesbrough, Wrexham, Stoke (3rd again?), Southampton (3rd again)

Is the third kit plain, mental or somewhere in between?

Im hoping my boy won't like it but that's very unlikely. This season is going to cost me a small fortune!
