For me it will be a moreorkess the same journey I undertook daily when I worked in Cricklewood, I got off and on the train many times at Willesden Green, Wembley will be the same just with a couple of extra stops bolted on.0

But it's interesting, I tried to see how AI deals with this and the answer is, not great. The Overground from Marylebone - which I too had never heard of - never got a mention. Is this the Chiltern Line service that was mentioned earlier ?
@Covered End I'm not sure I understand your train times from Eltham. That doesnt look right to me. Four an hour but bunched together like that?
But appreciate you considering my "mobility problem". Thankfully its getting better by the day, almost OK but given the choice I'd certainly avoid more steps than I need to. How long has Wembley Stadium existed? I don't recall it in 20190 -
Eltham trains do run every 15 minutes but only directly to Victoria and Cannon Street. Can change at Lewisham then wait for Charing Cross train (which has busy potential) then tube to Baker Street for tubes to Wembley Park or onto Marylebone. Full circle, personally Eltham to Victoria, tube via Oxford Circus to Marylebone then 9 minute train from there to Wembley Stadium. Very easy from there.2

If you go to Wembley Stadium Station you don’t get to do the walk up Wembley Way as you approach the stadium which is a bit of a shame. Might be a decent shout post match though.7

But this is what I asked @Covered End about. It's not, apparently, every 15 minutes. It seems to be two in 7 minutes and then a gap of 23 minutes. I have the TFL app now, and can see it for myself , but it's no frigging way to run a railway. And the TFL app, bloody hell...if I ask for Eltham station to Marylebone at 08.55, it proposes a bus to NG and the Bakerloo, or a bus to Woolwich for the ELZ. cafe 7.30 > bnh to london bridge 8.16 > ldn bridge to wembley ( just gonna stay on jub line, for the faff of changing its not worth it as its about 5 mins quicker )
we will be heading to green man there are 22 of us heading there should be there by about 9.30ish

Drive up from Devon Sunday morning, park up around pinner or Northwood to get on met line to wembley. Should be quieter as other direction to most.0

Suggest best to familiarise with some back up routes for the day. That Elizabeth line is a major let down when it fails and you will be lucky to be a useful inter-change to change route. The mainlines to London Bridge/ Charing Cross aren't exactly reliable when they are needed either. So i recommend thinking about alternatives like the DLR, e.g. from Woolwich, and Greenwich should it be needed.2

North London, fine, well covered by 4 routes. Getting to North London for a 1pm kick off on a Sunday with lines already shut, seems silly not to think ahead with contingencies.1
