Parked at Wembley Stadium. Two hours door to door each way from Bexhill, traffic was unbelievably light, no hold ups at all, parking very easy. Would do again.
I took a detour round the back of the Co-Op to avoid the kettling on the way home and got a bus to Neasden and then a 10 minute walk to stroll onto a quiet(ish) Jubilee line train back into town. Only a 5% higher risk of becoming the victim of a stabbing, robbing, or raping. Would do again. 4/5 stars.

Same here drove there in 2 hours from Hastings, bit longer coming back but very easy.
Drove from Canterbury to Abbey Wood (Alsike Road was a good call). Only £3.40 for a return journey to Wembley, as unable to tap in at Wembley Central on the way back and they just let us through at Abbey Wood. Train to Gatwick Airport yesterday via Ashford, Tonbridge and Redhill and Ryanair flight back to Spain for the remainder of my holiday.

Wait a minute, you abandoned a holiday part way through to see the game?

Hats off to you sir!
It was the opportunity to get on so many trains to and from Gatwick that swung it!!
8.50 from Bexleyheath wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be. Jubilee from London Bridge was challenging around 10.40 despite them being every 3 mins. Platform very busy and first one in was already solid full. 2nd on almost full and but just managed to squeeze in. Very squashed journey standing all way to Wembley, though thankfully managed to get my mum a seat.
After was a nightmare, was one of the last to leave the ground and despite being right by Wembley Stadium station. decided to try Wembley Park thinking it would be ok with all the Orient well left. Queued almost all the way back to the stadium, until police told us we were wasting our time and to go elsewhere as it would be hours. Walked the looped way round to Wembley Stadium station, finally got there and queued for 10-15 mins without moving. Got told by the police a train had broke down and go elsewhere.
Turned out to be the best thing that could happen, then had a cracking night
I was surprised how many Charlton fans got on the C2C line, didn’t expect so many to get on this line. Got an earlier train as it went to West Ham, weekends they tend to go to Stratford/Liverpool Street for that stupid shopping centre.
After the Wembley Park return (wasn’t that bad as we stayed for a few post match beers), we ended up chatting to a large group of Millwall lads on the Jubilee line. Two friends had got a box in the Orient end, apparently they didn’t have much else to do
They were good with my Son, thanked us for the 6 points next season (although wouldn’t stop swearing) and stated Nathan Jones would fit in at Millwall.

Did you hit Boxpark after that mate?
Yes, and it was the greatest few hours I remember having for years! Literally knew everyone in there, my kids got to speak and have photos with all the players etc. was just brilliant.
After turning away from Wembley Park Station We tried to get in 3 places for a beer with no luck, a nice doorman at TGI took sympathy that my mum was struggling to walk by this stage. He managed to squeeze us in their bar area and within a few mins managed to nab a table. Couple of beers and some grub left there an hour later. Walking back to Wembley Park we went past Boxpark just as the players were being ushered in. While we grabbed Thierry Small for a photo with the kids, my mum had convinced the doorman we were players family so 7 of us got ushered in with them. Finally got to Wembley Park about 9pm, 6hrs after the game had finished!

Must have been to Wembley close to 100 time now, and that was the worst queuing experience to leave Wembley Way I’ve ever experienced. I reckon we didn’t move to close to 15 mins at one point.
Left after the trophy celebration stopped on the pitch, must have been good 30k in the ground when we left. Aimed to get in Box Park and it must have taken 30 mins to get to the scrum outside it, and to then eventually be told it was full.
Decided to go to Las Iquanas in the Wembley shopping centre which took another 30 mins to finally be able to go back on ourselves, whilst walking around the block.
Left Wembley around 5:40ish. Saw Small, Dixon & T Watson having photos outside box park. By then it was more locals than football fans.
Slightly surprised (unless I've missed it) that there's been so little mention of the Lioness line (London Overground) / Bakerloo option, which I and a fair few others used after the game. Yes, it's a longer walk from the stadium to Wembley Central and then not quite as quick to central London, but we were always moving and the Overground/Bakerloo trains were frequent enough - and there was the added bonus that they literally weren't letting people tap in at Wembley Central, so we got a free journey back to Euston.

Same for us going back to Abbey Wood. Just said we couldn't tap in at Wembley Central and they let us through. So £3.40 for the return journey.
If people travelling on the Liz line want seats for the forwarding journey, I'd recommend getting off at Liverpool Street next time and getting the Metropolitan line, rather than catching it at Farringdon.
I got a seat as was travelling from Chelmsford with my girl friend and mostly Orient fans there.
They had one song, East East East London. Pathetic.

You didn't tap out at Euston then? No gates is there? Just checking as you can caught by the full day charge (about £15 now i think), if you get marked for an incomplete journey, i.e. a tap in or out without its corresponding tap in/out. @EpsomAddick

Good question, and I was a bit worried about it, but when we got to Euston the gates at the end of the platform were open so we just walked through without tapping out. It would have been pretty poor coordination (not that it's beyond our railway network!) to physically prevent people tapping in at Wembley Central - which based on the regular announcements about the station being in 'Event Mode' is quite common - and then not tell the gateline staff at Euston about it.

They were in good song on the tube I got on. No Charlton were singing after they had all been singing on Farringdon platform.
Im back at Wembley on Sunday watching Southend v Oldham
Wembley Park is shut so using Wembley Central would anyone know if it’s quicker to use the new line from Euston or Bakerloo?
Are both sides still restricted to 17.5k did I read if they want more have to show 50 coaches booked for 2.5k more or something
Increased to 21.5k yesterday + coach / tickets, so about 23k in total sold (out). Southend reckon they could take 35k alone.
They took 30k to the JPT final in 2013, that was their first ever trip to Wembley so you would think that interest peaked with that. Looks like they could sell more this time around.

I meant exiting Wembley via Wembley Stadium Station back to Marylebone.
10 min queue instead of a 1 hour scrum.
So £3.40 for the return journey.

Southend are in the unlucky end 😂
