    Just hope that from Marylebone the trains are of more than 4 carriages, it is common to find this, hopefully not the case on Sunday.

    Going by your user name I think you should use your local station & take the scenic route to Charing X.

    Prague, my best advice is -

    Trains from Eltham to Charing Cross run at 28 & 58, change at London Bridge & take 44 mins or
    Trains from Eltham to Charing Cross run at 21 & 51, change at Lewisham & take 37 mins.

    Charing Cross underground get on Bakerloo Line to Marylebone 5 stops. Takes 15 mins max.

    Marylebone OVERGROUND to Wembley Stadium Station takes 14 mins max.

    Overall 1hr 30 mins max door to door.

    Alternatively, simply get off at London Bridge and get the Jubilee Line to Wembley Park or switch from Jubilee Line to Metropolitan Line (much quicker/less stops) at Baker Street to Wembley Park.

    Yes you could ask someone to drop you or cab it to Woolwich or North Greenwich but it makes no sense to me. if you're walking with difficulty they can drop you at Eltham station in a few minutes.

    Also if there are mobility issues Wembley Stadium Station doesn't have a massive load of steps like Wembley Park.

    Train from Norwich to Liverpool Street and then tube to wembley park. Can't wait but anxiety kicking in. Rare for me to train to a game so will be a nice change. Can also have a pre match beer 🍺

    Bugger, coming from Essex my plan was to get on the Jubilee at West Ham. Stupidly, I hadn't considered that that would put us in the middle of all the travelling O's fans. I guess it's still the best option though as whichever way we come we're going to have to cross their patch. Will just have to beat the crowds by going early. My plan for coming home is to have a very good reason to hang around Wembley longer than anyone supporting Orient ;).

    If you're planning on getting the Lizzie line to Farringdon and changing there for the Met line here's a tip for you.

    Get on the very back of the train and when you get to Farringdon follow the exit signs to Barbican. Once you go up the first escalator go off to the left and there is a "secret" lift there that takes you straight up to the Westbound Met line platform at Barbican. You don't even have to leave the station. And it means you can get on the Met line train at Barbican one stop earlier than all the melons who got off the same train as you and headed to the Farringdon exit.

    Doing the same journey myself, all the other alternatives (132 to North Greenwich etc.) just seem like a pain in the arse.

    But it's interesting, I tried to see how AI deals with this and the answer is, not great. The Overground from Marylebone - which I too had never heard of - never got a mention. Is this the Chiltern Line service that was mentioned earlier ?

    @Covered End I'm not sure I understand your train times from Eltham. That doesnt look right to me. Four an hour but bunched together like that?

    But appreciate you considering my "mobility problem". Thankfully its getting better by the day, almost OK but given the choice I'd certainly avoid more steps than I need to. How long has Wembley Stadium existed? I don't recall it in 2019

    Most people are unaware of the overground to Wembley Stadium Station.
    It's been around years, I always use it and am back in Marylebone in 20 mins, whilst people queue for over an hour at Wembley Park.

    Wembley Stadium station has been there for ages. I got the train back from there after the 2019 game.

    Taunton to Paddington tomorrow afternoon, hotel in Marylebone and Chilton line train from there Sunday. 
    Think the gates open at 10 for this diamond package malarkey so intend getting my money’s worth of booze asap !

    My plan for the day involves not one but two trips to a Wetherspoons @ElfsborgAddick (don't start), going Turnpike with at 8.30 breakfast and a pint then 9.22 from welling to London Bridge, a cariety of tubes I won't bore everyone with details, then a short walk from central to JJ Moons.
