Split of pubs shown on Brent Council website https://www.brent.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/parking/wembley-event-day-parking/match-days
Charlton pubs are:
Shame we don't have Box Park as really enjoyed that last time.0 -
Odd as earlier Boxpark was under the East list.NabySarr said:BalladMan said:As per wembley ticket thread, looks like Orient have boxpark this time: https://www.brent.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/parking/wembley-event-day-parking/match-days

It didn't say that this morning. Boxpark was under Sheffield UTD / Leyton Orient/ Walsall. Maybe its back on for us!!!!NabySarr said:BalladMan said:As per wembley ticket thread, looks like Orient have boxpark this time: https://www.brent.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/parking/wembley-event-day-parking/match-days

Going for us and Wimbledon makes sense, as we'll have the most fans on the day. Sheff vs Sunderland was a toss up I guess3 -
Great news if true
🙌🏻🙏🏻🤞🏻0 -
I'm sure the owner of boxpark is a Charlton fan.1
-
Kind of. Covered on the Wembley thread, but he was, moved to Brighton, so more a Brighton fan now... He is also not involved in day to day decision making at boxpark since he sold equity to Lloydsrobroy said:I'm sure the owner of boxpark is a Charlton fan.
Its the crowd they can expect from Chartlon which will be clincher as number of people will be much higher1 -
Boxpark website currently has Sheffield United fan park for 24th, but no events for 25th/26th. Maybe it's still under discussion who gets it.0

BP would be great as it solves food problems too.1

Just wake up at 4am and start drinking earlier, that's what I'll be doing.
I'm bringing a flask and sticking a few cans down my pants as well.4 -
These are the details for Sheffield United at Boxpark. Presume will be same price/details if we get it (bit with earlier opening time).

Lucky you. Obviously didnt go for the east stand concourse optionshine166 said:

That might be a good shout. Realistically, unless you want to be in a pub for 10am or something, I’m not sure how much sense it makes going to a pub pre-match when it’s a 1pm kick off at Wembley.Elthamaddick said:The Charlton fanzone at the stadium was decent last time, very easy to get a beer1 -
Oh to be sat next to a "fan" who has been in a pub since 8:30am, what greater enhancement could one imagine at a match?Ducktapeshoerepairs said:
Let’s all go to the Green Man, no reservations necessary, despite the rumours some are starting to spread !!!
It's about £7.60 a pint at the Stadium itself, if one's substance abuse issues require alcohol intake to facilitate understanding and enjoyment of a football match.3 -
It does10

I went for the 'if fans bar opens at 4, I'm getting in there at 4' option. Luckily I stand at the back of NU so hopefully didn't annoy too many people singing.kafka said:

Not every fan is the same. Chill out and enjoy it for what it is.10 -
Copious amounts of alcohol and football go hand in hand.
No point watching it otherwise.

Why the need to put "fan". There are millions of football supporters who drink at games, doesn't mean you aren't a fan of football because you drink at games, makes it more eventful and it's an escape for a lot of people.Billy_Mix said:

I never drink at games cause I'm always driving, but I'm train bound for the big day and can't wait to have a drink surrounded by family, friends and Charlton fans.
There are a few that of course spoil it, but the majority are normal people just having fun, bit of a snotty post 👍🏻21 -
I got too pissed last Wembley trip, so will keeping a sensible head on until FT to ensure I can remember it12
-
Please can we avoid people coming on a 'Wembley Pub' thread to moan about drunk people... Just walk on by and chat about something else.15
-
That’s only 4 and a half hours before kick off? And realistically most people will want to get to their seats earlier than a usual game so maybe 4 hours drinking time. Most away days a lot of fans start drinking earlier than 4 hours before kick off, I certainly doBilly_Mix said:

Beers with friends and family for a few hours before kick off makes it a better day, it’s not just about the 90 minutes of football. Apologies for wanting to enjoy the day with other people6 -
Must be me then because I've only twice ever had a drink before a match.Macronate said:Copious amounts of alcohol and football go hand in hand.

Before the 1998 play off final - I had 2 pints around midday.
Before a pre-season friendly at home to Liverpool in 1985.9 -
Apologies @ElfsborgAddick , have edited it out as didn't mean to cause offence. (I enjoy all your pics and appreciate them!)
You'd be wrong then.
Marylebone for me i think (pubs in the station) and 10 minute train direct to Wembley stadium, if I make it in time. Those weren't too busy either in 2019.
No need for the shitty comment as well. Very unnecessary.3 -
Two of my mates actually fell asleep at the 2019 game....mind you the atmosphere up in the gods wasn't that great tbh.Croydon said:I got too pissed last Wembley trip, so will keeping a sensible head on until FT to ensure I can remember it2 -
Boom - 60 seconds extension of drinking time before kick-off

Play-off finals set to kick-off one minute later | Charlton Athletic Football Club
