Kind of. Covered on the Wembley thread, but he was, moved to Brighton, so more a Brighton fan now... He is also not involved in day to day decision making at boxpark since he sold equity to Lloyds
Its the crowd they can expect from Chartlon which will be clincher as number of people will be much higher
The Charlton fanzone at the stadium was decent last time, very easy to get a beer
That might be a good shout. Realistically, unless you want to be in a pub for 10am or something, I’m not sure how much sense it makes going to a pub pre-match when it’s a 1pm kick off at Wembley.
Massive respect to anyone who can watch Charlton sober.
I drunk so much before Wycombe, that I had to watch the first half with 1 eye.
Lucky you. Obviously didnt go for the east stand concourse option
Let’s all go to the Green Man, no reservations necessary, despite the rumours some are starting to spread !!!
Oh to be sat next to a "fan" who has been in a pub since 8:30am, what greater enhancement could one imagine at a match?
It's about £7.60 a pint at the Stadium itself, if one's substance abuse issues require alcohol intake to facilitate understanding and enjoyment of a football match.

I went for the 'if fans bar opens at 4, I'm getting in there at 4' option. Luckily I stand at the back of NU so hopefully didn't annoy too many people singing.
My boys coming Wembley so itl be a 1 pint and done day.

Not every fan is the same. Chill out and enjoy it for what it is.

Why the need to put "fan". There are millions of football supporters who drink at games, doesn't mean you aren't a fan of football because you drink at games, makes it more eventful and it's an escape for a lot of people.
I never drink at games cause I'm always driving, but I'm train bound for the big day and can't wait to have a drink surrounded by family, friends and Charlton fans.
There are a few that of course spoil it, but the majority are normal people just having fun, bit of a snotty post 👍🏻

That’s only 4 and a half hours before kick off? And realistically most people will want to get to their seats earlier than a usual game so maybe 4 hours drinking time. Most away days a lot of fans start drinking earlier than 4 hours before kick off, I certainly do
Beers with friends and family for a few hours before kick off makes it a better day, it’s not just about the 90 minutes of football. Apologies for wanting to enjoy the day with other people
Marylebone for me i think (pubs in the station) and 10 minute train direct to Wembley stadium, if I make it in time. Those weren't too busy either in 2019.
You'd be wrong then.
No need for the shitty comment as well. Very unnecessary.
Apologies @ElfsborgAddick , have edited it out as didn't mean to cause offence. (I enjoy all your pics and appreciate them!)

Charlton pubs are:
Shame we don't have Box Park as really enjoyed that last time.
UPDATE: Its not on the Boxpark site yet
Going for us and Wimbledon makes sense, as we'll have the most fans on the day. Sheff vs Sunderland was a toss up I guess

I'm bringing a flask and sticking a few cans down my pants as well.

No point watching it otherwise.

Before the 1998 play off final - I had 2 pints around midday.
Before a pre-season friendly at home to Liverpool in 1985.
