Just bought my season ticket but I still can't buy Wembley tickets. Is there some lag time for the system to recognise the fact? My account says that I am a season ticket holder already though.
GreenWithEnvy, they are updating the data base every hour so are advising that you will be registered within at most 2 hours, if you've just missed the update or possibly quicker.

We are clearly going to get more allocation and can easily see us getting closer to 45-47k, meaning likely another 10k added during the week.

Orient are forced to sell block by block in order to fill their 36k allocation as they are unsure they will sell out and can then return unsold and we start to encroach on their side of the stadium, block by block.

What will be fact is that if the EFL can sell empty seats to Charlton, they will cos $$$
I'm fairly certain they'll just cost the same as the rest of them
Sorry if the point was not clear

empty seat in Orient end = $0
sell it to Charlton = $$$

EFL will want to bank as much cash as possible.

Valley Gold only members getting a taste of their own medicine. Will be stuck in the gods whilst family members who have never been are front and centre
    What a bizarre outlook

  • And its not just me.....its for my son too. He hasn't a ST as he works for the club on matchdays. Imagine that.....the bloke who does the music on a matchday might not be able to go to Wembley because someone has bought tickets for their Uncle Tom Cobley who has never set foot inside the Valley.

    Something very wrong somewhere.
I do make you right on this part. Anyone involved in the club in employment capacity should get a look at tickets

What are the chances of me getting two tickets on general sale? The more I look at this thread, the more I feel like people are buying them all up and I am getting really nervous here!
Upper tier should be fine, can see middle and lower easily going before it reaches general. Maybe a few bits and bobs in the middle and lower.
Thanks - fingers crossed. I'm texting every contact I've got here lol

Got mine, no problem. Logged on just before 3:00 and had a 15 minute wait. Also received email confirmation very quickly. I must say that over 65 tickets are great value (half price). There are some benefits of getting old!

Firstly this is not s moan as I know it's my fault that I'm not a ST holder & only having 185 loyalty points means that I cant purchase until Monday afternoon.

However, it does rankle that it appears that there will be thousands of "hangers on" (not my words- words of a pp earlier) who will have better seats than me.....or might even have a seat when I cant get one.....just because a ST holder can by 4 at a time.

I am tempted to buy a ST today for next season so that I could buy later today/ tomorrow but as I dont go so much nowdays I dont know whether its worth the cost. And I dont see why I should have to fork out almost £500 (AC Stand) just so I can purchase a Wembkey ticket.

And its not just me.....its for my son too. He hasn't a ST as he works for the club on matchdays. How many of those friends, family and uncle Tom Cobleys might get the Charlton bug following their day at Wembley ? How many of them might buy a season ticket on Monday ?

im in the same boat as you mate as I go mostly to away games and not a season ticket holder due to geographical reasons. I didn’t want to take the chance of not getting tickets so bought mine yesterday

Maybe they should have limited it to two tickets per Season Ticket holder at this rate!!

Amazed how many areas sold out. I got on line at 15 30. No level one tickers left. Got a level 2 ticket though.
Really…..that as on the Wembley site I assume?

The view from the gods is excellent, there's less of a rake on the lower tiers so view ok, though I think most are choosing seats for atmosphere and singing, which will be excellent. There'll be plenty left for people on the database.

For a man who posts on here so much and has followed Charlton for years, I am surprised neither you or your son know a ST holder you would like to go to Wembley with.  This point is even more salient for the man who does the music at Charlton.

Even if you had posted this here earlier, a CL celeb like you would have had offers from others to buy you tickets (and I am sure not even next to them as you do insist on anonymity).

Charlton and EFL prerogative is to sell this allocation out ASAP so they have our money. When it does, they will almost certainly give us more.

So if you buy a season ticket for next year now you can jump straight into the 3pm buying phase, is that right? Asking for a friend.
Im happy for the club to market season tickets off of this match. It makes sense.

Not sure why this would seem to come as a surprise. If you don’t go very much but want a season ticket then buy one in the covered end lower and upgrade if you want to move seats when you are there.

Besides, I am pretty sure you will get a ticket for Wembley regardless and there aren’t really any bad seats.

    Predictably fucking shambolic
We get 6 season tickets in the Vice President's Suite but we only get one fan ID with that and we get no loyalty points.
So I've just spent an hour getting 4  fairly crap seatsfor my wife, daughter and her two friends. (none of the good seats are available)
But then I was trying to get 12 for a friend and his mates who are all regulars but can't commit to a season ticket.  But it won't let me buy any more because my allocation of 4 is taken up.
    i can't speak to a human
I can't buy the box for the rest of my family because Wembley are too busy to respond.
This is way more stressful than it really needs to be.
    Just take my fucking money!

Take it a confirmation of purchase only - not actual tickets?

There's always going to be day tripper at games like this. Chances are the same people who won't be happy about not getting a ticket to this, weren't there on those shit long away days on Tuesday nights and all the other shit days at home over the years.

I firmly believe anyone who truly wants to be there will be there unless they can't because of other commitments. There will be enough tickets.

If there isn't, I'm very wrong and we have more day trippers than I could have imagined.

That said, I hope everyone who wants to be there, that's Charlton and wants to be there, is there. I want the atmosphere to be class.

I bought 2 tickets for my daughter as I am having surgery that day (timing sucks) but hoping she can get the the coach from sheerness as her train travel will be worrying, does anyone know when the Wembley Express tickets go on sale?

If booking a Car Park at Wembley, Charlton fans are in the Pink one at £40.

    500 spaces left at 4pm.
