  • Anyone know if you can call the box office or only buy online?

My Dad (ST holder) is computer illiterate, still gets his tickets the old fashioned ways of post, phone, ticket office etc.

I'm Stage 4 I think so can't get tickets until Monday whereas he could today, but doesn't use the website etc....
Can't you just use his details and log in?

    Our website says online only.

Also: Phase 7 - Thursday, May 22nd from 11am until 5pm: Any remaining tickets will go on sale in-person for one day only for fans that may need extra support in purchasing tickets.
Why don’t you do it for him?
I would but I don't think he's got login details linked to his season ticket.  Or at least doesn't know if he has etc!

I've got his ID etc but no way of signing into it.

I bought 2 tickets for my daughter as I am having surgery that day (timing sucks) but hoping she can get the the coach from sheerness as her train travel will be worrying, does anyone know when the Wembley Express tickets go on sale?
Valley express already on sale. https://booking.cafc.co.uk/en-GB/categories/Valley%20Away

    limited pick up locations though.

That’s Wembley away, there is supposed to be Wembley Express (valley express) as well.

    You'd think.

I suspect he has an online login but doesn't know it etc.

He does everything in person, on the phone etc normally doesn't ever use the online page.

Everyone who wants a ticket will get one. The upper tier is mostly free and is more than 40% of the seats in Wembley!

Precisely - we’ve probably only sold about 15,000 - 20,000 of our allocation.

Just bought my season ticket but I still can't buy Wembley tickets. Is there some lag time for the system to recognise the fact? My account says that I am a season ticket holder already though.
GreenWithEnvy, they are updating the data base every hour so are advising that you will be registered within at most 2 hours, if you've just missed the update or possibly quicker.
yeah, I'm in now. Thanks for the confirmation @housemate!

I’m not being funny but 1800 tickets for Wycombe got to Phase 4 or 5.

My Dad and I have been to over a thousand CAFC games easily between us and at this rate we won’t get tickets at 2pm tomorrow. As Golfie said, 4 tickets per season ticket holder is an absolute outrage. It’s simply not fair.

With a 39,000 allocation my Dad and I should easily be able to get tickets! Every Charlton fan should be able to!

Every Charlton fan will.  We will get given up to 52,000 tickets if we sell out the first lot and no way we sell 52,000.

Is that a service that he offers? I’ll have four please, Rob. Cheers.

Got mine, no problem. Logged on just before 3:00 and had a 15 minute wait. Also received email confirmation very quickly. I must say that over 65 tickets are great value (half price). There are some benefits of getting old!
Take it a confirmation of purchase only - not actual tickets?
    Confirmation but not actual ticket.

Would be funny if we did though, then we could say to the spanners“you only took 45,000?“

    49,661 v Scunthorpe in 2009 L1 Play-off final to be precise. 47,349 v Wigan in 1999 Auto-windscreens Cup Final.

I would guess the original 37,000 are all sold out by Weds and we end up selling about 40,000.  Would be great if it was more.  Fulham and Spurs being at home the same day won't help as tourists will go to those games as will some who would have us as a second team (I know 🤢).
  • If Orient don't sell all their tickets and those nearest the middle get returned, then ironically those buying last might get some really good seats!

Well that was the most stressful thing I’ve ever done! Amazed looking back on here at 3.05 seeing people say how easy it was! Took us 90 mins in total

We were needing to buy across two transactions to get family together. Had 3 of us queuing, the one who joined the queue last was in within 1 min and got 12 together. Then had to wait another 20 mins for the second device to get the rest. Fortunately seats were still there, so we were all sorted. Then on the very last step, the pay now button on the laptop just wouldn’t proceed. Tried everything. Got them to queue again on another device and when they got in the tickets were not in her basket. The basket only works on the device you were using. By now there were no areas in the lower teir with 3 or 4 together, let alone what we were hoping for. Then the original 12 timed out, and frantically trying to buy the tickets on release while competing with others. Got some. You think you’ve got seats but then you go to add to basket and turns out you didn’t. Trying to track when you’re stressed who can now sit together where, what concessions you need, what Fan IDs you’ve used etc

We’re there. but man, things are never easy!

Exactly.  We seem to have a few entitled fans
I think you’re confusing entitlement with anxiety. I can’t see many posters saying it’s their right. It’s just that until you’ve got that confirmation email, the ‘everyone who wants one will get one’ comments only offer so much reassurance.

Edit. I see that you’ve changed ‘entitled’ to ‘strange’. Can’t argue with that 😂

Just noticed that we're at the end that Crystal Palace are currently at for the FA Cup Final.

Not sure I want a ticket now, unless they can reassure us that the seats have been properly cleaned? ;)
Sunderland or Sheff Utd will be taking one for us on that one

Does anyone know what our cut of the Wembley ticketing will be?
Also, what’s the prize money for promotion if we win?
I cant directly answer your question but Charlie Methven might in this podcast:

    https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/man-united-and-weakened-team-row-play-off-finances/id1700607219?i=1000708188478
I finally got around to listen to this. In the last 15 minutes of the podcast Charlie Methven quickly outlines the financial reality of the play-offs (with an emphasis on League 1) It's eye opening!

The other bit of information I heard from elsewhere is that promotion from L1 to the Championship generates approx. £12 million in extra revenue.

Can you have more than one charlton account associated with the same email address? Give it a go and if it won't let you, DM me and I'll sort you out a forwarding email address you can use.
