2 wickets for the part timer Charlesworth0
-
            181-5
Crawley back to his best, out for 10
-
            I do not like Crawley0
-
Kent Struggling. 193-5 last I heard. 129 needed to avoid the follow on. 57 needed to gain our first batting point this season.0
-
A decent fightback really. Compton batting well2
-
210-6. Finch out for 44. Compo 92*. Stewart batting and 11* hope that means he can bowl.0
-
Century for Compton who is 101 (169). Stewart has come out firing and is 21 (17) 236/62
-
We have a batting point!! 258-6 Compo 107* Stewart 36*4
-
            281-6
 Compton 1201
-
Good to see Compton back to the sort of form he showed when he first joined us.
In a parallel universe where the England selectors were more old school, he'd have a better chance of a Test call up than Crawley!4

            Grant Stewart 50* (62). 315/63
-
            318-7 Stewart out for 51 Compo 144*
4 needed to avoid the follow on and we have a 2nd batting bonus point.
That's the close of play score.3

Only lost 2 wickets since I re-started watching.
Great concentration by Ben & Grant to bring our score to a reasonable total.
 Well done lads.0
-
A shame to lose Grant right at the end of the day, as that will give Gloucs a real boost overnight.

Jas out for 5. Currently 335-8 with Compton 155*.1

Will probably jinx it but have a feeling Compo will carry his bat0

Kent Women, as a result of them not being Tier 1, have, effectively lost a whole team. Today they are playing Middlesex in the 50 over one day cup and are 47-9 off 14 overs. The ECB are probably struggling to hide their delight whilst at the same time imposing even more regulatory obligations on grassroot clubs.0

Compton is averaging this season 120 at a SR of 56 whereas Crawley is averaging 18 but has a SR of 65. So Crawley does score 9 runs more per 100 balls faced. The only issue with that argument is that Crawley's innings have only lasted, on average, 28 balls. England don't do occupying the crease.killerandflash said:Good to see Compton back to the sort of form he showed when he first joined us.

353-8, 3 batting points. Compo now 166* great effort. 119 behind. Let's hope Compo can go on and get a double ton. He deserves it.2
-
            373-8, within 100 of their total.3
-
            50 partnership a real bonus
 381-8

            Compton stumped for 178 (298). Great innings. 391-9 and 81 behind.4
-
Gloucs have used 7 bowlers and all 7 have taken at least a wicket.0
-
            393 all out1
-
393 all out as Gilchrist goes for a single so a deficit of 79
 Kashif 34* (89)1
-
Stewart and Finch both injured and missing from the field. Benjamin keeping wicket.0
-
112-2 and a lead of 191. Fanny has had her dancing shoes on because rain has stopped play which is our best chance of remaining unbeaten.4
