£200m???? and they thought they could get away with it? Should be the end of the allowing of related party transactions and Chelsea should be heavily investigated
They might still get away with it, the PL haven't actually said no to the valuation yet.

de Bruyne is leaving Man City in the summer... Big shoes to be filled by the person who replaces him.
Not exactly unexpected. The end of an era. Walker is surely going and i wouldn't be surprised to see Bernardo leave too.

KDB for me is easily the PL player of the last decade.
Be interesting season next year with both Man City and Liverpool rebuilding their squads, Arsenal with their exciting transfer window and Spurs being Spurs.
It's surely now or never next season for Arsenal.

Liverpool won't be as good and City will be better but still rebuilding, so if Arsenal finally get a proper number 9 it has to be the year they do it.
  • Southampton will be relegated today if they lose to Spurs, and are currently 1-0 down.
  • Ryan Sessegnon scores for Fulham 1-1 v Liverpool, did he come on loan to us ?
    scurries off to google
  • No he didn’t , who am I thinking of

No, it was his brother Steven, now at Wigan
  • His twin brother Steven played 33 times for us 2022/3
  • Robertson having a bit of a mare today.

Since the Scouser sang "we're going to win the league"
They have conceded 3 goals with some shocking defending from Robertson(3 times in 5 seconds!) and Van Dijk.

Liverpool are going to win the League in a stroll but we can still enjoy IF they lose today.
  • How did Fulham lose so badly in the Cup to Palace last weekend?

And even more humiliating, losing to Spurs.

This Manchester derby is terrible. Strange team selection from Pep, it's almost like he keeps selecting the old guys as he wants them to try and prove everyone wrong, but he needs to remember why they had to go and buy players in January.

United are pretty poor defensively and they've set up with no width and no pace. City were awful for half a season without any legs in midfield, so went and signed Nico Gonzalez, and they've benched him to play Kovacic and Gundogan. Make it make sense.
  • Agree that it's terrible, think I'll give the second half a miss and watch some grass grow.
  • I was looking forward to this one but it’s hasn’t been a classic so far!
  • Will be 2 tasty south coast derbies next year. Southampton and Pompy will be in the same league for the first time since 2011/2012
  • I can confidently say this has been the worst PL season ever, all the teams are so poor, Liverpoo have won it at a canter but they haven't been amazing
  • What’s the latest with the eight million charges against City? Is that actually going to be resolved one way or another?
  • Boring F1 and boring Manchester derby

  • That's the most 0-0 game I've watched in a while!!

Assuming Pompey stay up? Only 4 points above a relegation spot.

Biggest protest to date up from Seven Sisters to the stadium.

First half could have been 4 or 5 if it wasnt for the Gooner in goal or VAR.  Not down to Spurs playing well, that was down to how poor the 10 were in front of Ramdale.

Second half was one of the most boring, dull, lifeless halfs I've watched in a long time.  Almost as if Ange put the handbrake on and told no one to cross half way until we break.  Very very poor and had it been against better opposition we probably wouldnt have won.

Special note for Brennan Johnson who after scoring twice, he still didnt have the balls to get the ball off Tel for a hat trick pen, just like he has no balls to take on his full back which as a so-called winger is a pre-requisite really.
  • Newcastle 2-0 up at Leicester already. Howe deserves so much credit for the way he's improved players like Jacob Murphy.

After the boring Manchester derby, Newcastle are two up in 10 minutes from Jacob Murphy and the Geordies are playing with bags of confidence and Leicester look like they have thrown the towel in.
    The second goal came from a shot from the half way line from Schar when he spotted the keeper off his line;
the ball hit the crossbar and Murphy reacted first and knocked in the rebound.

Joelinton and Dan Burn as well.

Also since Howe went there, they've had hardly any failures in the transfer market. Isak, Bruno Guimaraes, Gordon, Livramento, Hall, Trippier, Burn, Botman (before his injuries) have all done really well. Tonali has been good as well since returning from his ban.

Steve Cooper was sacked with Leicester in 16th.

    That went well  :#

I don't know whether they would've stayed up under Cooper or not, but they certainly would've been more competitive!!
  • For the 2nd season in a row the 3 teams going down, were the promoted teams from the season before.
Southampton had no chance by new year's day and Ipswich and Leicester have been doomed since early March. A sad state of affairs which will probably be replicated next season. If Leeds get promoted they may have a chance but Burnley and Sheffield United will just Yo-Yo again.
  • I don't know who this says more about, but apparently since Leicester last scored a home goal in the league, Southampton have sacked 2 managers.
