Today, with a heavy heart, we said goodbye to our loving, beautiful, Tilly girl. Who'd of believed that 24 hours on from a lovely stroll along the beach we would see our girl go to heaven. 13years and 11mths of joy, laughter and pride.
Rest easy my special girl...love you always, miss you forever.
    Very sorry to hear this!

I am only along the road in Media City if you ever want a cuddle/walk with my JJ.

    Bodie update…..

Well, the joy of the stitches coming out didn’t last long - we were told the cone can come off, and the git managed to reopen one of the wounds, we presume by chewing it - we were only out of the room for 5 minutes 🙄

No blood, but needed to be stitched up again, once again at emergency vet (so, another ginormous vet bill) - cone is back on, still in crate, he is still hugely hacked off

He is walked for 10 mins twice a day at Hesketh Park, and is very strong indeed now - he is quite the local doggy celebrity at Hesketh Park now, as nearly all the dog walkers there know about him and his injuries - word has spread !!!

Good job we love you to bits Bodie, and we have savings !!!
A hiccup, Bodie and family love each other more after all this  :)<3

Sad to say that Zuben will run to the bridge later today.
Been a fantastic pal who has helped me no end through some tough times.
Almost 13 which is a good age for an English Bull Terrier.
The big C got him in the end and he has gone down hill at a really rapid pace.
Gonna miss him like mad of course.😢

Run to the bridge Zuben……run to the bridge.👋🏼

So sorry to hear that. It's terrible knowing that it's coming and being unable to do anything about it, other than make him comfortable and know that he's loved.

Sorry to hear your news. It's horrible when you have to let them go, only other pet owners know.

My daughter whose partner of 11 years broke up with her recently, is at the other end of the introduction of a new member to the family and will have a puppy cavapoodle in a couple of weeks.

This is Dumpling 6 weeks old.

It is so sad when you lose a beloved member of your family. That is what it is ultimately. When you love them and they know they are loved, that is the biggest thing you can do for them.

Our dopey cat has managed to injure his ear again and keeps scratching it which makes it worse. He’s managed to lose every collar we’ve used in the past so have tried one of this type. Had to get one that makes him look a bit of a prat to try and educate him not to do it again.

I would not want to be the daft bugger that put that collar on him. He is absolutely plotting a revenge that would make the Saw movies seem like the softer alternative.

I don’t have the heart to tell him he doesn’t fit on the new laundry bin! I give it 5 days before he’s fallen through this one too 😂

    Bodie update…..

Tuesday this week Bodie went back to the hospital in Basildon for a check up

All is well - the implants in his elbows have not moved, and the metal plates etc are also superbly in place - the surgeon who operated on him is very impressed with his progress

Bodie is walking strongly and essentially back to normal - he still can’t go off the lead (another 6 weeks for that) as he can’t run just yet - he is however out of the crate and allowed to roam the house with his brother Buster

He has straight away come to bed with me most of the night - so lovely cuddles with him - delightful

He is straight back to terrorising his brother 😂

Last night however he was a git, and did a dump in the living room

    Such a relief
