If you’re talking about what I think you’re talking about, I didn’t think that was a twist at all. I thought it was obvious and I can’t imagine anyone didn’t see it coming, so I’m inclined to think it wasn’t meant to be a shock to the viewers, only to the characters. I dunno, maybe I misread it? 🤔Croydon said:
I am of this view too. It's good, albeit still a bit slow in places, and the early twist in S2 was fairly predictable.cafcsinger said:Severance is very good. Thought season 1 started slowly but was fantastic after the first 3 or 4 episodes. Enjoying season 2, but 10/10 is a bit much. Bread and butter 8/10 TV series3 -
Anyone watching that Virdee? Wasn't convinced by the first episode and wondering opinions on the rest to see whether to bother!0

Not seen Episode 2 but felt 1 was fleshing out the characters.Covered End said:

Scary scenes in episode 2. Seen episode 3 and well worth persevering with.North Lower Neil said:Anyone watching that Virdee? Wasn't convinced by the first episode and wondering opinions on the rest to see whether to bother!1 -
Yeah - there wasn't really a 'twist'. In fact, there hasn't been a traditional 'twist' in the show that I can think of - it's just a series of extremely well crafted mini rug-pulls and reveals, with an intriguing central premise that allows for all sorts of mind-fucks and emotional trauma. The last episode in particular is gut-wrenching - and the cinematography and set design is out of this world.lordromford said:

Don’t get the relentless drum banging for Severance. I’m not averse to a slow burner - Infact, I probably prefer box sets that give stories and characters that much more time to breathe and develop.
Usually, I’m all over slow, dialogue driven drama, or anything with a philosophical twist - but I found severance predictable from the off. Even without knowing the specific plot twists, it really doesn’t take much to guess the premise of the whole thing.
After the first 2/3 episodes of series 1, it kind of dawned on me that it was a little bit like watching the mid seasons of LOST. Not in content obviously, but in the structure. Fuck all happens for 90% of the episode, then at the end, there’s a twist, or a problem, or mystery, or a reveal that’s supposed to hook us in for the next episode. When that format dawned on me, I psychologically lost interest in the whole thing. I saw out season one spending a large time on my phone browsing other shite, waiting for it to just hurry up and end.
So underwhelmed with season 1, I haven’t bothered looking at season 2. Life’s too short.

Yeah, maybe! Plenty of US articles calling it a twist, but I agree it felt too obvious to be a conventional 'twist'lordromford said:

One of my all time favourites - I even have it on DVD! great casting and the recently departed Andre Baugher is fantastic as arrogant, super-smooth Detective Frank Pembleton.KBslittlesis said:Sky Atlantic are showing Homocide - Life on the streets.
Is it as good as The Wire? Worth a watch?1 -

Severance is losing me.
That latest ep felt like the writers disappearing up their own bum holes2 -
Enjoyed the recent Episode of Severance... Finally got a bit of context behind Ms Casey, who up until now, we've known little about.
That line from the Doctor though, saying that Mark had moved on, got married and had a child.
After all her own attempts, to conceive thats got to be one of the most brutal thing you can be told!!
Typical disappointment that it ended where it did, had a feeling thats how it would end, and now looking forward again to Friday1 -
Yet to start Severance season 2. It's a good show but im not massively blown away by it. Great ending to season 1 though.
Not new but finished season 1 of Invincible last night. It is a cartoon so not everyone's cup of tea but I've really enjoyed it. Ridiculously violent too!0 -
Real blast from the past. Stumbled across House of Fools online over the weekend. Watched it the first time round and liked it.
It's beyond stupid and classic Vic and Bob, still made me laugh.1 -
Should have stuck with it, thought it was very good.Covered End said:

Three episodes into the new Berjerac at the moment. Quite liking it so far. Not the smiling, pleasant Jim of old but glad they did'nt try to replicate the role exactly.1

First season is immense. Second goes off the rails, third is good again. Gleeson is incredible, as always - but Harry Treadaway steals the showMcBobbin said:New to me, but just started "Mr Mercedes" very good so far3 -
Glad it picks up after second series, not onto that yet but a couple of mates watching are saying the same. Will stick with it. Yes Harry Treadaway is superb... Love the scenes in the electronics shop in particularLeroy Ambrose said:
